I’m not sure if this place is still called Alborz, as I think it changed hands a few months.
A little secret I’m gonna let you in on: Persian restaurants are always overpriced… Why? you ask. Well, it has something to do with the Persian sense of superiority over everyone.
If you can get over the fact that you’re paying 15 bucks for a plate of ground beef and rice then this place is right up there with all the other average Persian joints in the Bay Area.
