Great little dive bar. A group of us stopped by on a Friday night to have a few drinks and a good time. Lot’s of regulars, everyone was friendly. It has a jukebox with good music and a pool table. One of the bartenders was singing karaōke, even though it was not the regular night for it.
Stop by if you are in the area. you won’t regret it.

I was here with my buddy looking for his other friend that attends a few of the local watering spot. He wasn’t here but everyone here was friendly and the bartender seemed friendly and greeted us right away. A pool table is there and when I come back I’ll be sure to play a round and have a round.

Also Vanessa is another awesome bartender that had an awesome personality and knows how to make her drinks I will continue to come in for a drink and karaōke! The crowd is so down to earth and very welcoming

I may or may not have popped in here during a break from work for a little wind down. After a super hectic morning, all I wanted was a cheap glass of wine. I found this place and ducked in for a cheap cab.
The bartender AJ was SO nice. The second I walked in I was greeted with a smile and super enthusiastic attitude. Mind you I didn’t realize this was kind of an old mans bar so I stuck out like a sore thumb. I immediately felt comfortable. Thank you AJ!
If you’re looking for a super awesome dive bar, this is place. Cool spot!

For a place that had a bad rep years ago it’s turned out to be a great place to just hang out and have some drinks with the regulars. The juke box plays all the hits, there’s karaōke on Wednesday and Sunday and the drinks are stiff. The vibe is pretty chill. If you’re into playing pool you better bring your A game cuz they take pool very serious in there. Also there’s an outdoor patio where you can drink and smoke at which is the best part about this bar because it’s the only place in pedro that offers that amenity.
Me, I love the drink we dubbed the Spicy Whore.

I love this place! The place has changed a lot for the better. New lighting, decorations, with a cool pirate theme. No more bars on the windows. Still just a great dive bar. But its getting a much needed face lift. Plus the bartenders are cool & friendly. Always have a fun time there, it’s got a great mix of people from doctors, lawyers to Longshore men & fishermen. And best of all, no longer a tweaker /​gangster hangout. Me & my girlfriends feel safe going in there now. Love it!

Hands down, my favorite place to go in San Pedro for drinks, shooting pool, and hanging with locals. Yes, it’s a dive bar. If you want somewhere «upscale» to drink, find a different neighborhood. This is fun, friendly, locals kicking back in their natural habitat and my husband and I loved it. Jane, the day bartender, is the most awesome of humans ever and makes a KILLER drink. The prices are decent and where on this planet can you still get a pool game for 50 cents? (very nice table too, albeit purple…)
The ladies room was spotless with a secure door lock. Most important, the Spot has its own parking lot!
I can’t wait to go back!

I have fond memories of my one visit to The Spot. The selling feature would be the bulletin board plastered with faded Polaroid pictures featuring patrons of the good, the bad, and the ugly varieties. When asked how to get one’s picture on the board, the bartender smiled her toothless smile and said, «well, most of them are dead.» I give this bar an A+ for quality… and a triple ‘x’ in dirty.

Stopped in to the Spot on Sunday afternoon while out on a ride with my lady. Cheap and stiff drinks, good juke box and an outside patio that you can take your drinks? Sweet! Andrea was attentive and friendly and made a great Bloody Mary. A total dive bar and just what we were looking for mid-​ride. Will we be back? For sure. This is our new Spot when we are riding in San Pedro!
There was an eclectic mix of customers but didn’t notice any of the trouble that a few other Unilocalers had talked about. We came in early afternoon after eating some great food at Rex’s next door.

Uhhhhh, why this place has 4 and a half stars is baffling. I went here with my boyfriend after I picked him up at work today… and thank god he was there otherwise I would be reviewing my recent rape.
In my short time there, I witnessed two drug deals, was offered nitrous, got raped with the eyes of many a longshoreman, and paid wayyyy too much for two bottles of drinkability. (3.50 each, no joke)
Other than that the bartender was very nice, and they have all the makings of a glorious divebar: jukebox, pool table, darts and smoky/​dirty ambiance. Unfortunately, the patrons are a touch scary and a staff member has to come to the bathroom with you to let you in… i think that’s about enough said. I would probably have loved it if i was already drunk!
