History
Established in 1990.
«The Grand Emporium» functioned as a Gift and Garden shop for some 22 years before a recent change of direction. Marylyn Ginsburg, long a leader in the San Pedro community, decided to shift the operation to to highlight Vintage Music Movies and Books. Initial reaction has been positive, and we pride ourselves on having on hand recordings, films and books to appeal to everyone from the young enthusiast to the practiced connoisseur.
Meet the Manager
Chuck K.
Manager
Chuck is a former NPR and PBS producer who has had several nationally distributed music programs. He’s also been a reviewer for several publications, including daily newspapers of the Newhouse chain, and he has taught at such institutions as IUPUI and Syracuse University. Chuck’s a music and film enthusiast, and looks forward to mixing it up with customers and making recommendations.
