Sprint Store By Direct Store

I’ve been to this location on a few occasions for issues with my phone. The last time I went with a screen issue– the light kept dimming down to black and not coming back on. I couldn’t reproduce this error enough times in front of them to see that it was obviously an issue, even though when he did a hard restart it did it in front of him. They wouldn’t do anything for me other than say «Sorry.» I’ve paid their stupid insurance for 2 years for them to not even attempt to fix the issue. What made me most upset in all of this was that the Sprint rep erased my entire phone in the process, losing all of my pictures, without even asking. He did it on accident apparently. Never coming back to this place again.

I just got home from trying to upgrade my current phone (iPhone4) to an iPhone 6 at the Sprint Store located at 1121 N. Gaffey St. in San Pedro, Ca. Let me begin by stating that your sales associate: LUIS SANCHEZ was great. He answered all my questions and was very helpful. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when your store manager: VIVIAN/​VIVIANA MORA got involved. Very, very rude and I could’ve dealt without her snappy attitude. All I asked was about a discount that I got back when I first got my phone and if it was still available? And it was like I was pulling teeth to get her to help and answer my questions. Sorry that I asked questions. I just dont wanna pay more that what I already am. Problem is I will not be going to that store again. You need to contact her and give her some training in how to practice customer service. Especially when the sales associate: LUIS SANCHEZ is more helpful than your store manager; who again goes by VIVIAN/​VIVIANA MORA. I’m sure with store managers that treat your customers like this; all your competitors must be really happy.

This place isn’t as bad as it seems. Jacky was a great help while trying to find an appropriate plan. All the staff seemed energized and happy to assist.

IT’S REALLY NOT THAT BAD!
After reading all of the horrible reviews of this place, I expected a horrible experience, but that wasn’t the case.
There wasn’t only but one person ahead of me, no wait at all. They guy was able to restore all the contacts in my phone without losing any existing info. I didn’t need to buy anything extra and the fix visit was free.
YES, the parking sucks, and it’s a terrible location. The guy who helped me had bad breath and lots of dandruff. I tried not to stand too close to him. Eeewww! However, he did know his stuff. For that I’m thankful.
Overall, it might be ‘hit or miss’ at that Sprint store, so patronize at your own risk*

Don’t go. Worse customer service ever. If u get an apple product, buy apple care not the crap insurance they sell. Full of annoying ghetto people as an added bonus. Ugh. plus sprint is a rip off, I switched best thing I ever did and saved lots of money.

Avoid this place like the plague. Me and my husband thought we wanted to join Sprint since it offered cheaper prices than their competitors, boy were we wrong. As soon as I bought my HTC phone I had nothing but problems, dropped calls, no service, no text messages, everything was WRONG! when i called customer service the sprint people were not helpful, so i decided to go back in the store, they just told me to come back when the manager was there. Well, fed up I decided to quit my service and go with AT&T. After reading the 30 day return policy, I was sure I was going to get refunded my entire money since I only had service (or lack of) for 3 days. Well, they tried to tell me I had to pay for a cancellation fee-​I told them no and pulled out the return policy. The manager then came and told me fine, I wouldnt pay the cancellation fee but I would have to pay the $ 35 restocking fee for each phone-​again the SPRINT return policy said I didnt have to pay and when I refused he point blank said «I dont care what the return policy says, you have to pay the restocking fee». I told him I wouldnt pay it and called Sprint customer service there on the spot. As soon as I got someone on the phone, he instantly said «Fine you dont have to pay», he proceeded to tell me he was doing me a favor and said that because they are a third party store then they dont have to follow policy. He did refund me the money at the end-​but he told me it was because I was «aggressive» and my «attitude» turned him off-​Whatever! DONT GO HERE-​this is the worst customer service I have ever received-​I was shocked!

I went in to upgrade my phone as I was now eligible for a new one. Either that store alone has a new system or I looked like I came off the short bus. For a new iPhone 5s, they wanted me to pay $ 99 today and $ 22/​month for the next 23 months, the duration of the contract period. That amounted to about the full cost of an iPhone. I asked, is Sprint no longer subsidizing the cost of a phone for using them as a carrier? He said that was the ONLY way they offered now. (Monthly plan cost was virtually the same as I had previously had) I felt this was inaccurate so checked out Radio Shack and
who also sell/​provide Sprint phones… and found it not to be true. So either Sprint stores no longer want sell phones or they have idiots changing their contract programs or the employees at the Gaffey store want this store closed so they can work at a better one. In any event, I found the sales people to have poor attitudes and lacked professionalism.

Made me drive 50 miles to get an iPhone 5s and when I got there they refused to sell it to me because I was already a Sprint customer and they said it was only for new non-​sprint customers. Then Cindy or Cynthia suggested to pay a deposit and be put on a 8 – 10 week waiting list. R they serious? I went to my local radio shack and got the same phone without even waiting 5 minutes. They store is very small, the manager doesn’t even care about customer service and it has a bad smell. Would never go back.

Wow worst sprint store ever! It’s about as small as my bedroom and smelled. it was so cramped in there with a dozen people. Took me 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that I was there. Ended up walking out as I started feeling claustrophobic. horrible parking too. Two spots!

We all know how taxing cell phone DRAMA can be… not to mention the level of customer service at most joints but I must say— this SPRINT store is awesome. Well, not the store– the STAFF! Friendly, informative, customer service oriented, professional and accomodating. I will not go anywhere else from here on out:)

This is a small Sprint location, ideal for phones. I lost my phone and needed a quick solution, which I found. George Bannura was my sales consultant, he knew about all the phones and did a nice job getting me up and running again. I walked out happy, thanks George.
