In conjunction with these products and services, we provide the highest level of service with the emphasis on Longshoremen and their unique financial needs and goals.

History

Established in 2013.

This is the second location of the ILWU Credit Union and we are proud to be called the San Pedro branch. We listened to our Longshoremen member base and recognized a need for a physical branch inside the San Pedro community. We are here to meet and exceed the financial needs of Longshoremen and their immediate families.

Love, Love, Love. If you are a longshoreman you should be banking here. You will get great customer service here unlike all of the too big to fail banks. Do the right thing… it’s your bank. Use it.

I had some trouble with my debit card over the weekend causing me to have to make a trip into the credit union! And my experience yesterday was beyond worthy enough of a 5 star review! I have been a member of a big name bank and have actually been treated like I was in the wrong when the bank had messed stuff up. The ILWU credit union treated me like family, they were helpful in resolving my problem, and did so with a smile on their face! As crappy of a situation I was in, I left there feeling happy and satisfied with resolution to my problem! I got helped by a girl at a desk and then a man behind the teller window (I don’t remember their names) both showed great customer service and I just think people and staff deserve praise when they go above and beyond. Lastly I noticed this staff not only treating me this way, but every client and customer that walked through the door! Applause to you ILWU credit union in San Pedro, walking into an establishment that is holding all of your money can make a customer feel vulnerable and anxious, these people are trustworthy and kind, and I think the world needs a little more of that in the world!
