I am shopping for appliances for a condo I bought overseas, I was looking for a Tankless Heater and visited this store in recommendation from an associate from an Ace Hardware. A young guy came out to help with my purchase, I told him what I was shopping for, showed him a picture of a couple Tankless Heaters, then he started asking a lot of questions about what I needed it for. I explained that it was going overseas in my condo, then he proceded to make phone calls and called the company that makes the heater that is sold at their store. He asked them if their heater was allowed to enter Panama. I told him that was not necessary, that other apartments in the condo had the same type of heater, and that their wasn’t any restrictions with it entering the country. Then he came back to tell me that it will be out of warranty over their and refused to sell the heater. I told him that I was aware and that I was not concern about the warranty, I have purchase refrigerators, stoves, washer/driers, and other appliances that are going to be shipped overseas, the warranty was the least of my worries, and that people move overseas and ship appliances all the time. It was a waste of my time and I am highly dissatisfied with the service. It was obvious he didn’t want to make a sale.

I went here after I visited Home Depot. The HD guy recommended this place up and down. They had to special order the part(sink valve), which is fine. When I went pick it up, it was the wrong part. The guy had ordered the cold side instead of the hot side(although he wrote down hot side). He gave me an excuse that the manufacturer does it by the way the valve closes.(The incorrect part number had«R» in the front of it and the correct one had«L». Seems pretty easy to me.) I asked if they could ship it to me since they messed it up and they charged me a «freight charge» and he said they could. I get a call a week later when the part came in and was told to come pick it up. I asked about the shipping and he told me they couldn’t do it.(or is that wouldn’t?) This place is 20 minutes from my house so pretty inconvenient. I know that this place is geared for pros and not DIY-ers like myself but I thought they weren’t all that helpful, especially after screwing up. You already charged me for shipping, why can’t you just ship it to me? After two weeks, three trips and $ 55, I finally got the right part. I’ll use a different place next time.
