This is an excellent play-​based preschool. Children have 4 different rooms they can explore and play in as well as a good sized out door area filled with activities. The teachers are kind and caring and the activities and art projects they plan for the children are wonderful. I love that they have different topics they focus on throughout the year, like fire safety, space, nature, the list goes on.
My daughter attended the four year old class and is absolutely thriving in Kindergarten this year. I know the teachers did an excellent job in preparing her. My son is currently attending the 3 year old class and is excited each time it’s a school day. I cannot recommend this school and staff enough.

my child attended transfiguration for a year, after 2 unhappy years at a montessori — while montessori was great for my first kid, it wasn’t a good fit for my active second kid. after seeing how my child blossomed here, i felt terrible that I forced him to stay at Montessori for so long. Teacher Karen and staff are wonderful, caring, loving and experienced professionals that haven’t forgotten that this is an important emotional decision to the families that perhaps are leaving their children somewhere for the first time. LOVE THIS PLACE! MISS THIS PLACE!

If you’re looking for a preschool, look no further!
We started our oldest daughter here 2 years ago and she loved it! It made sense to keep our younger daughter at a place she felt comfortable.
Teacher Karen and the staff are top notch, caring and know the kids. They are great at what they do!

Today is our son Andre’ s high school graduation and all I can think about this morning is his first day of preschool and the gift of teacher karen and all the teachers at transfiguration for giving us the best start, support, guidance. nuturing, education and love. For this we are forever grateful. You all helped start this amazing journey, for that we thank you.

With over 50 years experience Transfiguration is
the best program for children around, Great teacher to student ratio. (5 – 1)
Loving & Nuturing environment for the children.
Children are totally disciplined and ready for Elementary school when leaving the program. The same teachers have been there for at least 30+ yrs .
Couldn’t ask for a better learning environment!!!

Both of my children have attended Transfiguration School over the past 4 years. I would recommend this school without a doubt. It is a play based school with wonderful teachers. The teacher to student ratio is fantastic. They are very organized and always have a fun activity planned for the kids each day.

Transfiguration Nursery School is a very special school. The teachers are attentive, detail oriented, and loving. Both my children love this school. My son, who graduated a few years ago, was well prepared for entering Kindergarten. His adjustment into Kindergarten was very smooth. My daughter is loving the art time, music time, play time, snack time, and so much more. I highly recommend people check it out.

We love Transfiguration! This is an amazing play-​based, loving, and nurturing preschool with a very low student-​teacher ratio. My oldest child was well prepared for Kindergarten, both socially and academically, after preschool at Transfiguration. My younger child is still in school here, and I will sincerely miss the school and wonderful teachers when he graduates. I can’t imagine a better place to send my children to preschool!

We have loved all Transfiguration has provided our three children — one still remains and feel continued love and care, as well as special attention when needed, from all teachers. Our kids have thrived from their experience @ Transfig. and their love for education was learned here and has only blossomed over the years.
Can’t say enough wonderful things about the teachers… fantastic ratio, of course — but the care and personal connections from them have been immeasurable.
