John helped us with a cash-​out refi. He was super helpful at laying out our options, very patient with our questions, and helped navigate the conditions on our approval. John is very responsive, has a friendly demeanor, and overall was a pleasure to work with. We did everything via the phone and internet, except for the final signing, where a mobile notary came to our house. Highlight recommended!

John Simons is as honest as they come, extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. I’ve done two refi’s with John, and despite the fact I have a relatively complex family arrangement, he handled these with ease, explaining each step along the way, and coming up with creative solutions to some of the issues that arose. He even helped me with issues that came up with my previous loan company, who bought the loan after I first did a refi with John, which prompted me to work with him again. There is no better broker out there – I wholeheartedly recommend him… I would give him 6 stars if I could!

We just got the keys on our new house yesterday. We shopped around for brokers and John really impressed us. He took the time to make sure that we were clear and comfortable with each step of the process. He’s very visual which was helpful to my wife and I who, as 1st time buyers, felt clueless about the process.

Back in 2006 John came recommended to us by our real estate agent. He helped us close our very first mortgage with no problem.
More recently we worked with him to re-​finance an existing mortgage. And again the transaction went very smoothly despite the obnoxious standards that the mortgage industry has come up with. John was successful in navigating the process on a 15 days lock.
Each time John was easy to work with. He was able to get us competitive rates at reasonable closing costs.
I would recommend John to anyone looking to close a new mortgage or re-​finance an existing one.
