Our goal is to bring balance harmony back into your life by helping your body to heal itself. We specialize in treating fertility issues, skin problems and pain management. Using acupuncture and chinese herbs, we re-​balance the body’s constitution, to help you with your fertility needs, be it resolving menstrual issues, assistance with your IVF or IUI procedures, or pregnancy support. Qi Harmony makes customized herbal creams, salves and tinctures that can help relieve the symptoms of skin problems such as eczema, shingles, psoriasis and rosacea by helping the skin heal itself. Also, since acupuncture is very effective in treating pain with very little side effects, Qi Harmony can also help you with coping with chronic or acute pain. We have helped our patients with a wide variety of pain problems such as low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraines, tendonitis, plantar fasciatis, menstrual cramps and irritable bowel syndrome.

Our tranquil zen-​like clinic is conveniently located near Hwy 101, Hwy 92 & public transportation (Caltrans & SamTrans) with plenty of FREE parking.

History

Established in 2008.

After graduating from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, I worked as the office manager and lead acupuncturist for Dr Lifang Liang, a well-​known fertility acupuncture specialist. A year later I opened my own practice in Downtown San Mateo and later bought the practice from the acupuncturist I was renting from. In 2014, I moved to the Bayshore Corporate Commons and I started interning with my dermatology instructor, Prof Jialing Yu.

My practice focuses on fertility issues, skin problems and pain management.

Business Owner

Lorraine Mock is a Calif Board Licensed Acupuncturist. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, she worked in the medical field for over 20 yrs as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. During her last 5 yrs at Mills-​Peninsula Medical Center, she worked as a Massage Therapist. She earned a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine located in SF where she gained experience in treating a wide variety of medical conditions. After graduating, she worked as lead acupuncturist and office manager for Dr Lifang Liang, a gynecology and fertility specialist where she received in-​depth training in treating all aspects of gynecological and infertility issues. Later she earned a Certificate in TCM Dermatology after finishing an advanced training from Prof Jialing Yu, a leading TCM Dermatologist. Currently, she is interning with Prof Yu in her dermatology clinic.
