I started out as a Data Processing Manager and Programmer, owned several businesses, Contracted w/​Charles Schwab in SF for over 3+ years and ASAT in Fremont for a Year. Problem Solvers began in 1989, I also have a B.S. Degree in Finance & Accounting and help small businesses in setting up and maintaining their Accounting System.

I took two computers which had begun to run really slow to Brian to get them checked out. After running a diagnostic program on each Brian made recommendations and performed work at a very reasonable price. The computers were fixed faster than Brian had first estimated and have been running faster since. I was first anticipating on replacing one and I am glad that I was referred to Brian instead.

My printer has problem, black ink doesn’t work well.
Called some people/​company I found on Unilocal,some say they don’t fix printer, some say nicely that printer is not worth fixing, just go get a new one.
And then there is Brian, he says the same thing, printer is cheap, it will probably cost the same to fix it. But he taught me, over the phone, how to clean it, (where is the self cleaning option), what would he do if I bring it to him.
I tried that, it got 95% better! I called him again, he taught me more, about printer, cartridge and all that.
I mean, I don’t know him. He doesn’t make any money from me. He has so much patience, he is very knowledgeable about computer.
If I ever have any computer or IT problem, (fingers crossed), I will definitely call Brian again.

I accidentally spilled water on my laptop and Brian was able to arrange to have it fixed at a reasonable price. Brian is knowledgable and friendly and my laptop was returned to me quicker than anticipated. While I don’t plan to spill water again on my computer, I would use Problem Solvers again for any future issues.

Brian O’Neill at Problem Solvers is a real whiz at maintaining, fixing and dealing with all computer related problems. When my ancient computer died with a «smoke and a pop», he saved my information! The first problem solved.
Then when the new computer took forever to arrive…(long story) he fixed my old laptop so I could limp along with reasonable functionality. The 2nd problem solved.
FINALLY my new computer arrived and he worked all weekend to get me up and running… with all my information. Believe me I had tons of information to get in working order.
Brian even found a way to get my older version of PhotoShop to work with the 64 format. Thank you Brian. Problem solved!
Prices are very reasonable.

A couple of weeks after my last review, I called Brian again regarding a brand new problem that developed, and as has always been the case, Brian solved the difficulty very quickly. He worked with me over the phone and plugged into my computer by way of remote access, which meant I didn’t have to unhook everything and take the computer to his office. Hooray!
There has never been a time that Brian has not been available to help. His stellar reviews are reflections of his commitment to service, and I cannot speak highly enough of the work that he does.

Brian has been a terrific help to me. I’m quadriplegic and have an extremely difficult time getting my PC to him for repairs. He has always been kind enough to come and pick it up when necessary or, if possible, work on it for me right here at home. I’ve used his services for many, many years and have always been completely satisfied with his knowledge, promptness and willingness to lend a hand regardless of the nature of the problem. I spend from 10 to 12 hours a day on my computer and without it I’d be forced to spend most of my waking time watching TV (which I wouldn’t wish on anyone). Brian is very well aware of how much I need access to my major form of business and recreation and has always made sure that he kept it for only as long as it was absolutely necessary to effect whatever solution was necessary. If there were six stars in the rating system he would certainly deserve them!

Problem Solvers computer repair saved my life. My computer crashed last week, and I had all my business information on it, and had not backed up my materials since January! I kept putting it off and then had a near heart attack when it just would not turn on! I took my computer to Brian and he was able to successfully extract the data off of my hard drive and put it on a disc. His computer repair prices are reasonable and he sent me a link to a backup service, so I won’t keep procrastinating about backing up in the future!
