After discovering my talent and passion for makeup art, I decided to attend beauty school in 2008 to obtain my Cosmetology license. Between meeting new people and having the opportunity to make them feel 100% pampered and absolutely beautiful, I truly believe that I have one of the best and most rewarding professions in the world.

Aside from makeup artistry, I specialize in color/​highlights and men’s and women’s haircuts. I value the importance of hair integrity, and always make the goal of giving my clients «healthy hair» a priority with every service. I cater to every clients specific hair needs, and have gained a reputation for being an excellent listener when it comes to giving my clients exactly what THEY want, which sets me aside from most stylists.

Whitney is truly an artist with hair and makeup. I need someone who doesn’t need direction from me to make my hair look fabulous. I love my color and style. And I receive lots of compliments. She is one of the nicest people I know; so easy to talk to. The salon is easy to get to with tons of parking

Whitney isn’t just skilled in her craft but she understands everybody is different and tailor’s her technique to match your particular hair style, texture, and color. The best part is I can be extremely specific or just let Whitney do what she thinks looks best and she delivers every single time. Life can be pretty unpredictable, but your hair doesn’t have to be.

I went to Regis Tanforan a few years ago and they assigned Whitney to do my hair, I’m so grateful they did. I followed her to her new salon, Pretty Please. It’s a cute little place within a larger building of other salons off of El Camino. She is so friendly, listens well and always does exactly what I want. I leave happy and feeling good every time. She’s so knowledgeable and talented. Her prices are great. I recently got my hair cut and toned and can’t wait to schedule another appointment!

I like the fact that she can interact with you while doing her great job.
The best part was the scalp massages. Omgee I almost drool coz it is sooo good.

It’s hard to find someone you truly trust with your hair! That’s why when Whitney, who used to be at Natural Look Salon in Burlingame, opened up her own studio in San Mateo, I followed her there.
I loved her from day 1, and I still do. She does exactly (or better!) what you ask her for, and is just pleasant to chit chat with while you get your haircut. For shampoo, cut, and blowout it’s $ 60. Not bad for a great quality cut.
