i had a facial with Elise a month ago. the booking of the appt was easy (did that online). parking was not a problem (i went on a weekend). the facility was very clean (even the bathroom). everything was so pretty! Elise was very professional. i left the place happy. i wish there are packages for a discount, so i can go more regularly though. i would go again.

This is the most painful brazilian wax I have ever had in my life after waxing for 10 years. The wax they use is ridiculously painful yes it lasted a bit longer but it is also expensive plus they can only go over each spot once so if one hair is missed it stays there and you have to go home and finish the job yourself, the gloves they use really hurt me. The girls are nice but too painful and not the best job

Liz was super nice! Just got my eyebrows waxed today by her. This was my third time ever getting my eyebrows waxed. I used to go to Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta but the lady I usually go to isn’t there anymore so I had to find a new place. I stumbled upon NB and was originally going to book an appointment with Nadia but she was unavailable for this week. I decided to try out Liz and she was absolutely wonderful. She was the only one in so it was fairly quiet. The place is small but cute! She has you lay down and begins to do your brows. It took about 15 – 20 minutes. I love how softly they wax. (If that makes any sense.) It barely hurt!
I would come back here to get my brows done!

Best place ever for skincare! I have been to quite a few places in search for the facial of my dreams (and with my expectations, I thought I would never find it). I’ve been a (quite) regular facial and waxing client at NB Beauty for a good while now, and am certain to remain with NB Beauty for a lifetime.
The location is extremely accessible and has a nice parking lot and street parking; it’s very pleasant to be able to find parking every time! The spa is very clean, with beautiful details all over. You are able to feel comfy, cozy and extremely relaxed! One of my favorite details is how EXTREMELY comfortable your bed is set up for you during your appointment, with a down comforter and not sure what else they made up that bed to do to it, but they did it just right and once you lay in it, you’ll see what I mean!
All the ladies at NB Beauty, are all such a comfortable, professional, sweet, and always a pleasure to see and talk to each visit, I wouldn’t change anything because this team won’t be anything besides sweet and lovely to everybody they see.
Elise is my miracle maker, whom I personally see, and basically every other week, if I’m able to, and if not I will book every two weeks– I’m definitely not recommended to be in so much, but I honestly don’t touch or do anything on my face, besides the home skin care regimen with my amazing products I use from them, I just know that Elise is the best at what she does and is so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING and trust and know she will go in and take care of me and my skin each time. Elise has shown me my skin to be its best I have ever seen or felt as long as I lived to remember. There is no way I have truly experienced a person who cares about you and your skin and just passionately just love what she does — even those things we can’t do ourselves or even want to she will take care of during your facial– nothing will come close to how clean, healthy, radiantly glowing, best skin you will have after your facial with Elsie. There is good out there, but Elsie will remain every time more than that. She is that «Great!» you don’t know about yet, is how I feel about her because I been there. I so happy that found this perfect place and glad I have the opportunity to after this long time, still feel this excited to recommend Elsie and NB Beauty with certainty to know you will be so happy with your experience and amazing service from this recommendation.

I wish I could give a 6-​star rating! Nadia is so awesome! I tried to visit Nadia about a year ago but her schedule was booked tight so it didn’t happen to my disappointment. In between the time of first meeting Nadia and now I have received 5 waxing services… I am such a scary cat but Nadia was patient and informative on the service. She even accepted me during her break which is extremely rare for people to do in the services field. I appreciate her so much and my wax was as painless as it could possibly be.
With me also being in the services field, I know how things can be. NB Beauty is EXTREMELY clean and sanitary. She did not double dip in the wax at all. The décor of the place, just plain cute! Now that I’ve gotten my wax out of the way, Im ready for a facial. Cant Wait!

She also recommends products for your skin (without any pressure to buy). Certainly the most thorough extractions I’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommend!

Today was my first visit to NB Beauty. I made an appointment for a lip/​chin waxing. An email was sent to confirm. Nice touch! The shop’s décor is adorable and very clean. I was taken at my appointed time by Liz.
She was very gentle and had wonderful lotions to help before and after the waxing. She did an excellent job and made me feel very comfortable. Upon leaving, the bill was presented on an iPad with tip choices available, so no math! Receipt was then emailed to me. Seamless transaction. I will definitely return for more services!

Had an amazing wax today by Nadia! Loved the place, loved her, and I will definitely be coming back when I’m visiting the Bay Area!

I went into NB Beauty for a microdermabrasion facial with Marni. The salon itself is clean, cute and inviting. Throughout my entire facial I felt completely relaxed and at ease. Marni does a great job at walking you through the process of your treatment and informing you of all the facts and what exactly each product is used for. My face felt cleansed and fresh; I was glowing! She is great at what she does, has a great personality, and really adds to the comforting and relaxing experience that a salon/​spa should have!

I love this salon! It was hard leaving my waxer when I moved to the Bay until I found Liz at NB Beauty. She is the most genuine, nice, and funny person ever. Her waxes are perfect and she takes a lot of pride and care in her work. I also get my eyelashes tinted and I love that she uses a vegetable based dye so close to my eyes.
She went on vacation right before my anniversary, so I went to Nadia while she was out. Nadia was amazing as well and I highly recommend her. She was so friendly and also did an awesome job and I barely felt it. I’ll be sticking with Liz since I’m a regular with her now, but I recommend either of them.

Nadia is MY GIRL! She was off on maternity leave for awhile and I counted the days until she returned! NB Beauty is a beautiful place, so clean, and the customer service is nothing short of AMAZING! If there were 10 stars, I would gladly give them :)

I haven’t had a facial in years and coming back from vacation I felt like my skin needed it. I Unilocaled the closest place to my house and found this gem. I booked an appointment online with Marni and the whole process was amazing. From booking online to the facial session, everything was wonderful. Marni is very sweet and knows her stuff. She made me feel comfortable and she was very gentle during the facial. I felt so relaxed that I might have taken a 5 min. nap while the steam was on my face. After the facial, she gave me some samples to try out and was very informative on how to use them. She even sent me an email to follow-​up on the products and to see if they worked out for me. If you are in need of a facial and want to feel pampered and relaxed… this is your place! Can’t wait to book my next facial!

I wish Nadia lived in San Diego because she is amazing! I went in today, after traveling for a month, and was skeptical (going somewhere unknown for something as intimate as a wax can be nerve wracking) BUT the reviews were spot on.
The place is super clean and Nadia is SO friendly. She knows all of her clients and made the experience completely pain free (literally, I was in no pain).
I HIGHLY recommend.

Went down to NB Beauty for a facial, I saw Marni, boy does she have a personality! she was extremely informative but besides her knowledge, she was really gentle and did a great job. She’s fun to talk to and seemed at ease. She’s new to the team, but Nadia found another gem. Great sense of humor, and I felt extremely relaxed while she was working on me. I’d highly recommend Marni, she makes you feel so welcome, she’s a great add to the NB beauty staff.

I’m not going to lie, i followed Nadia here when she opened it. I absolutely love her. And now that she has expanded and hired on more staff, it’s only gotten better. I have seen Elise for a facial: she is super soothing and Liz for a wax, who is also as amazing as Nadia.

I waited a few months before I did this review because I wanted to see whether or not the overall condition of my skin improved and if the results were sustainable. I started getting facials with Elise in preparation for my upcoming wedding. I met with Elise for my first appointment and we quickly came up with a plan over the course of 6 months to improve my skin. My skin wasn’t in terrible condition but it was lacking clarity and evenness. I wanted skin that looked healthy, glowed, required minimal makeup and was easy to maintain. I didn’t want to be slathering on 10 different products twice a day.
Long story short, 3 months have gone by and my skin has improved drastically and I finally have smooth even glowy skin. I’m sure it will only continue to improve with time. Elise is amazing! She is gentle, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and explains everything she is doing so you know what’s going to happen next. The overall experience is always excellent and super relaxing. The salon is super clean and nicely decorated. Parking is easy and they have good operating hours. I never thought I would be a believer in facials but Elise has changed my mind!

Been here a handful of times for waxing services. There is free parking and the salon itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. Prices are fair and the service is excellent. Nadia is a pro at what she does – detail oriented, thorough, and efficient. She is also super nice and easy to talk to. Also, the online booking system is very efficient and sends you a reminder email prior to your appointment. Highly recommend!

I am so happy that I found Nadia and Elise. They are awesome!

The girls are very friendly and inviting. The salon is spotless. I so would give 5 stars but… I can’t because Elise totally waxed my left eyebrow corner off.
It has taken 7 months for it to completely grow and fill in. I don’t know if it was an accident or mistake. She seemed nervous, so with great regret I will not be going back.
