I’ve been coming to Maya for over 10 years. I live in San Francisco, but drive to San Mateo whenever I need waxing because she is THE BEST! I get many compliments on my eyebrows and they are all thanks to Maya. In high school, like most girls I over plucked my brows in the wrong places. Over the years Maya has revived my brows and given them a beautiful shape and arch. There is no one in the world I trust more with my Brazilian and Eyebrow waxes than Maya. She’s the sweetest lady ever and makes the process painless as well as being very clean. I love you, Maya!!!

I was drawn to Maya because of her amazing Unilocal reviews, but unfortunately I never got the chance actually use her services. I called her to schedule an appointment and she told me she was able to meet me that day at 2 pm. I drove to San Mateo from Redwood City. Once there, I waited. And Waited. And Waited. I called her phone and left a voicemail telling her I was there and waiting. Nothing. I even asked the receptionist for another person there if Maya was in. She was not. In total I waited about half an hour before I left. What makes me more upset is that she never called me back with an apology or reschedule.

I have been seeing Maya for over a year now and love her. She does a great job and my eyebrows have never looked better. Her pricing is fair and she is really patient while she is working, she makes sure everything is perfect. I get my eyebrows colored as well and its fantastic. The color lasts over a month and saves me from using makeup each day to color them in. She gives you a confirming call the day before your appt and is flexible if you need to reschedule. I highly recommend Maya!

I’ve been seeing Maya for years now and it’s always a pleasant experience. She does an amazing job with waxing and is very gentle and accommodating. I recently had a facial/​microdermabrasion done by her and I’ve been receiving tons of compliments since as my skin looks awesome. It’s like it took years off my face! Maya is amazing! I have been going to her for about 6 years. She is extremely gentle and knowledgeable. i won’t let anyone else touch my eyebrows. Recently I have had her dye my eyelashes and it lasted about 2 months. She also gives a mean facial.

Maya’s is a little slice of heaven tucked away in San Mateo. I have the pleasure and experience of going to Maya for my waxing needs for almost 5 years. I was referred to her by a friend of mine when I couldn’t make the trips to San Francisco for my Brazilian and brow waxing. Maya’s prices are very responsible and she has great experience on how she does her waxings. I’m, very happy with her services and patience. If you anything like me picky about who does your waxing. Search no more, Maya is clean and quite environment for all your wax and facial needs.

I’ve been going to see Maya for her services for about 6 years now, and highly recommend her. Even after moving to San Francisco, I make the trek down to see her every month, she’s that good! She’s fast, efficient, and makes you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. She’s also very competitively priced in the area which is such a huge plus. No one does brows better!!!
