Founded in 2008 by Humza Chowdhry, HC Structural Engineering provides full service structural engineering, building design, and BIM consulting to clients in the Bay Area.
Mr. Chowdhry’s vision in developing a unique and successful firm was delivering the highest level of client satisfaction. In developing the firm, Mr. Chowdhry sought the interest of industry leaders to provide feedback on what they saw as a distinct vision for the future of the design industry. This combined with Mr. Chowdhrys creative thinking has created a firm that aims to be an industry leader. By providing quality and affordable engineering to many clients thus far, HC Structural Engineering has brought the dreams of many individuals to reality.

Humza C.
Business Owner
Humza Chowdhry has over 10 years of structural engineering experience. His extensive list of structural engineering projects include: skate parks, medical centers, hospitals, schools, student housing, laboratories, and high end residential projects. He has a Bachelor in Science degree in Architectural Engineering with a Minor in Construction Management from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He obtained his masters in Civil Engineering with a minor in Geotechnical Engineering from San Jose State University. Humza is a registered professional Civil and Structural Engineer in the State of California, and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Concrete Institute, and the Structural Engineers of Northern California. He is an adjunct professor for the Civil Engineering department at Santa Clara University.
