History

Established in 1981.

I began my hairstyling career in 1981 in New York City. I also lived and worked in Hawaii. Working as a stylist aboard cruise ships and resorts in Hawaii. Since 2008 I have been working in Palo Alto as a stylist and loving it. I’m dedicated to continued advanced education to keep up with trends and to develop, improve and build on my current skills and creativity. I believe in sharing home care and styling techniques with my clients so they can have beautiful hair every day and not just on the day of their salon visit!

Business Owner

Carmel Ann has had a passion for hair since childhood, and over 30 years ago she fulfilled that passion by becoming a licensed Hairstylist.

She continues to attend advanced educational classes in coloring, highlighting, and cutting techniques. Carmel Ann has attended classes at the Redken Exchange and L’Oreal Institute in N.Y.C., the Sexy Hair Academy in California, and countless other training classes and seminars in salons and around the Bay Area. Along with being beautified, she believes every client should have a positive and pleasant customer service experience, hence this is highly regarded in her salon. She has taken her passion for hair and regard for customer service to the next level in her career and opened her own salon suite in San Mateo, CA.
