Candice Candelaria, MMFT, LMFT helps adolescents, young professionals, couples & families in the Bay Area overcome obstacles that are holding them back from living out the life they desire. She provides guidance through anticipated milestones like starting a new career path, exploring personal identity, preparing for marriage or the birth of a child, and unexpected life events such as emotionally navigating through a divorce, coping with the death of a loved one, recovering from a traumatic event, managing feelings of anxiety or depression, or overcoming challenges with alcohol or drug use.
Her clinical interests focus on the affects early childhood experiences, attachment style & brain development have on her clients’ behaviors, thoughts, emotions, interpersonal relationships, and overall well-being. She often incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and a strength-based perspective.
Candice received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at San Francisco State University and completed her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California. She is currently completing a certification in Interpersonal Neurobiology from the Mindsight Institute.
