I recently contacted Bain Mazza & Debski with a question and was met with a prompt response from Katie Bain. (I think she called me back within a few hours after I sent them a message.) She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and very concise.
Before I contacted their firm, I contacted a few others for consultations that ended up being completely un-​helpful. I know that Attorneys don’t dispense advice for free but Katie gave me a brief overview of my situation with a level of candor that I really appreciated. I highly recommend giving them a phone call if you’re on the fence.

I needed to have a consulting agreement reviewed quickly and she was able to fit me into her schedule on short notice. While consulting agreements are not her speciality, she took the time to review the agreement and suggested changes that made the it more fair and balanced. Based on her suggestions, the company accepted all of her changes and I felt more comfortable signing the agreement. I am very thankful for her time and expertise!

Worked directly with Katie Debski to review an employment agreement offer, and couldn’t recommend her enough. I was referred to Bain, Mazza & Debski Law Firm by a dear friend and was contacted immediately by Katie Debski the next day in response to a late night email I had sent outlining circumstances in my work place. I was hurt, it wasn’t my fault, I need a lawyer. What do I need in a personal injury lawyer??? That was the question I asked myself while searching for a personal injury attorney to handle my case.

It may sound like an exaggeration, but I feel like Landman and Mazza helped save me. If I could, I would give Katie all the stars from all my reviews. Laura was also wonderful but I didn’t get to interact with her much as she was unavailable (for very good reason) while my case was going on.
A couple years ago, I went through the hardest fight of my life — emotionally, mentally and physically. I was dealing with what felt like complete apathy from my company (a large corporation) for a harassment situation I had been dealing with for years. At the point where I almost snapped from my horrible work environment, I had to temporarily leave and thought my only solution was to run away, hide and pretend the last few years never happened. Rationally, I knew this path would probably stunt me forever so I tried to be strong, despite what I really wanted to do.
Here’s where Katie came in. She read my many emails, she listened to me on multiple occasions and empathized with what I was going through. I mean truly empathized. I talked to two other female lawyers about my situation before talking to Katie, but Katie was the only person that made me feel like I was talking to a lawyer AND a friend.
I was beyond scared dealing with everything, but having Katie walk me through every step of the way, gave me the strength and confidence I needed. I know now that my experience wouldn’t have killed me, but thankfully to Katie, I didn’t have to just survive, I actually got a brand new start in life.
