Specialties

A.U.M. specializes in mindful practices, expressive and healing arts. We offer meditation classes, A Course In Miracles discussion group, art classes such as Artist’s Way, Singing from the Heart, drumming, movement and various workshops. A.U.M. is home to NewGround Theatre Dance Company, which produces storyline productions that thematically encompass messages of hope, inner change, and well-​being for ourselves and the planet. NewGround continuously experiments with new methods of physical expression and focuses on the synergy of artistic forms of expression.

History

Established in 2011.

AUM has been dedicated to healing, self-​expression, and stress reduction since 1998. It evolved as a group of board certified holistic practitioners, expressive arts and meditation therapists invested in offering wellness through the arts to the broader community. Our vision continues today with the opening of the AUM Center; providing both a serene and creative environment for relaxation, expression, insight, comfort, and ease.

Manager

Elisheva is the Director of Marketing and Music at Arts Unity Movement (AUM), a 501c3 nonprofit. She is a certified HeartMath Resilience Advantage Trainer, Reiki practitioner, Laughter Yoga leader, sound healer and facilitates Drumming for Wellness for San Mateo County Department of Behavioral Health thru AUM. Elisheva is also part of AUM’s Corporate Wellness Team, offering Balance and Resilience workshops and retreats to individuals and teams.
