The owner of Alumni Pool Service and our highly qualified staff will personally service your pool or spa each and every week to make sure these needs are met. We have also formed a team of professionals to provide our clients the best possible service in pool and spa repairs, solar installation and sales. Let Alumni Pool Service free you from the tasks of taking care of your pool. We will test and chemically treat the water for enjoyable and safe swimming conditions. Our service also includes emptying out your skimmer basket, pool cleaner and pump basket. We always brush the tile and walls after we have removed any leaves or debris from your pool. While on site we will also make certain all the equipment is in good working order.

S.J.S.U. college grad fires up own pool maintenance company after 3 year apprenticeship with a pool veteran of 31 years in the pool & spa industry. The owner noticed the lack of personal customer service and decided that pool owners deserved better service for their money. Now insured, Water Chemistry Certified, CPO Certified and a member of the Independent Pool & Spa Service Association, Alumni Pool Service looks forward to serving your personalized pool needs.

We purchased our home, inheriting a 1965 kidney shaped pool, along with an OK pool service. We resided to the fact that the pool was old and the service we were getting was as good as it was going to be. Fired the old service thought I could maintain the pool myself, disaster upon disaster, spending way too much on chemicals trying to find solutions to our ever growing pool problems.
Along comes Alumni Pool Service, they not only fixed our pool issues, they take our weekly pool service to a new level. Checking in to see if we are happy with the service, and informing us of maintenance should be considered to keep our 1965 pool up and going. I use my pool daily and I am so grateful for this team of professionals that take so much pride in the services they provide.

Brought George in when my pool was a mess, looked terrible and needed a fix fast because of an upcoming kid party. George dealt with the problem immediately, and even continued to visit several times during the following weeks without charge to get the pool to the clarity he apparently insists on! I’ve brought Alumni on for weekly maintenance and pool looks great.

My previous pool service was like a ghost. I never knew what day he showed up, he never communicated anything, and my pool was totally off because of him.
I found Alumni Pool and gave George a call. George is very good at keeping me apprised of my pool’s health and he lets me know right away if there are concerns. When my sweep needed repairs he took care of it immediately. He took pictures of needed repairs, invoiced the parts, got my approval then fixed it.
He responds either through email or phone the same day and is very attentive to any questions or concerns I have.
You really can’t go wrong with George’s service.

I cannot say enough good things about George and Ken from Alumni Pool Service. Having purchased a home recently, we have had our share of service providers come through, and believe me when I say, it doesn’t get any better than Alumni Pool Service. They’re not just «pool guys» they’ve become partners in this journey with us. I thought I was rather comfortable in a pool environment, but I had no idea the equipment and systems required to run it smoothly. George came in and really walked us through the entire process. The pool hadn’t been cared for properly by the former homeowners, so there was quite a bit of remedy work to be done, included replacing and upgrading the majority of the pool equipment. George was patient and worked with us to find the best solution for our home. They continue to provide unmatched chemical and full cleaning service for us and we couldn’t be happier. We would fully recommend Alumni Pool Service for your pool needs without reservation.

After moving into a new home, I was very displeased with the service of the previous provider: total lack of communication, seemed incompetent, etc. When I had an «emergency» leak, I asked George to come out to assess. He instantly gave me a suggestion how to deal with it with the previous service, didn’t charge me a dime and said if I needed anything else to call him. Needless to say I signed up with him the next month. He is always friendly to my family and is very responsive on questions. He has teamed with an «amateur first time pool owner» to educate me on how everything works so I’m prepared to deal with minor stuff. Good guy, good team, good service.

Until February of this year, I had been using a pool service that I «inherited» when I bought my house. It was one of the larger services in the area — a big corporate-​type outfit, very well known (if you are reading this, you may be using them now).
While my pool always looked fine, I didn’t feel like I was «in partnership» with the company, and I really lacked any clear visibility into how the pool was doing or if anything needed attention.
When the heater stopped working this winter, I decided to look around a bit, and gave George a try (George runs Alumni).
We’ve been very, very happy. George came in, reviewed our pool, and identified a lot of problems that hadn’t been brought to my attention (including the fact that the chlorine cell was melted out and useless, and that the filters were all way past time for replacement, and many other things).
The pool is in great shape now, and I feel a level of partnership with George that I never felt before, and a level of visibility into the pool situation that I sorely lacked.
George is reasonably priced, and well worth a call if you are looking to make a change. We’ve very glad we did.
