We could not be happier with our new backyard! Chris and his team were responsive, courteous, clean, on time and respectful. They carefully listened to our concerns, communicated frequently and were always patient with my never ending questions! They entire team takes great pride in their work. Chris offered terrific suggestions. The end result is a gorgeous yard, peaceful, serene and everything we hoped it would be.

Chris is flexible, personable, professional, communicative and he and his team do great work. I would highly recommend hiring him. After plenty of research and bids we went with his team to instal artificial turf. We are very pleased and plan to hire him for more work in our yard.

We have known Chris for a few years, and knew his company did a lot of commercial landscape services. We called and asked him for a one time clean up in preparation for a home sale. He quickly responded and was here within a short time. His crew, as is Chris, were meticulous and top notch. Our place looks amazing. Highly recommend!

Chris and team maintained our property for a couple of years before we relocated out of state and they did a fantastic job. They were exceptionally reliable, showing up at the same time each week. They also were very careful to keep gates closed so our dogs would not get out.
Chris and team maintained our property in excellent condition. These guys don’t butcher the landscaping with hedge clippers, but rather, they take the time to meticulously prune and dead-​head the landscaping so that it has a clean, natural look to it. They take care of sprinkler adjustments, lawn fertilizing, etc. When something extra was needed, I only had to email or call and they would take care of it right away.
My only complaint is that we could not take them with us to maintain our new property now that we have moved.

Chris and his crew just finished the final touches on our yard this week. I love it. They arrived on time, did great work, cleaned up after themselves and stayed on task. The work stayed on budget and I love my new yard. Highly recommend you give him a chance to quote your job.

With the water restrictions we’re facing I had a serious and urgent issue with 5 of the sprinkler manifolds malfunctioning forcing me to turn off the mainline valve off and forcing all of my landscape to suffer during a very hot and dry period. I called Houle L&M, told Chris about my issue and they came over the very next morning. Very professional and couldn’t be happier with the results. Don’t mess around, call Chris and have it done right the first time.

I would add more stars if I could. Chris and his crew did two great jobs for us. First, we needed a front yard clean-​up in a big hurry and — without knowing us but understanding our urgency — they turned up, got everything done promptly and for a reasonable price. Later, we decided to try to landscape our back yard «one last time»…having hired the wrong person earlier and failed in our own amateur efforts!
Chris spent all the time we needed finding out our needs and desires, taking us shopping for plants and trees and designing/​re-​designing the plans because he clearly wanted us to be completely satisfied. The work was done quickly, professionally and beautifully. We were so pleased with the outcome that we wanted to be sure that we wouldn’t ruin the landscaping with our slap-​dash maintenance! So we hired these folks for a third round and are delighted with the care they are taking of our yard on a weekly basis. Any questions or concerns are dealt with promptly and for the first time in five years, we love to look out our back windows or sit outside and drink in the beautiful view.
We would happily let Chris send prospective clients our way to see his workmanship.

Chris Houle and his team did a great job with our back yard laying down sod, planting trees, shrubs, and annuals, running irrigation, and providing power to our fountain. The customer service is impressive… everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic with a high attention to detail. Even when they are super busy they will make time to come by on short notice, if needed. I think customer satisfaction is a high priority with them. Thanks Chris!

Very impressed with owner Chris Houle, and his team. We had an urgent problem with our irrigation system feeding our backyard and small orchard. In spite of having some staff on vacation, Chris and his team went over and above to rectify the problem, which turned out to be VERY labor-​intensive, due to some confined areas they had to work in. He got back to me in a timely manner and workers were on site and working diligently when he said they would be. We will definitely use Houle again, and will readily recommend him to friends and family.

Chris Houle did an amazing job with our backyard project. He was able to take the landscape architect’s design and bring it to life. Chris offered great suggestions and opinions, and he was flexible when we had some changes to the layout. We got three bids, and Chris’ was the lowest, but we got a great value.
Gus and his crew was very professional and considerate when doing the work, and cleaned up after the project was over.
