Simple really: Stephen came round to quote for a new pool pump as I’d already received a bid for $ 1,800 for a replacement one that had died. It took him about an hour to replace a capacitor and resurrect the old one. Costing me $ 130 all in.
This guy is a genius!!! This is about the third time he has fixed issues with my pool equipment and each time he’s been a fraction of the price of the guy that put the pool in, in the first place.

Stephen is a consummate professional. Our spa had gone by the wayside after a deployment and was filthy and not running well. Stephen left us a with a beautifully clean spa. Very fast and VERY fair! Will recommend him to everyone.

This idiot drives around like a complete maniac, nearly crashed into me today illegally changing lanes while making a left turn. It is totally unprofessional to drive unsafely while in a company car, and is a very poor reflection on their business.

If you have a spa or Jacuzzi this is the company you want to service it! Our spa was old and in need of a total renovation. After interviewing numerous companies we chose Spa Doctor San Diego because Stephen was totally honest about what could or should be done to bring the spa back up to par. He replaced only the equipment that needed replacing and did not try and talk us into ordering new stuff when the old still worked well. He totally refinished the interior of the spa and did a beautiful job. He is a perfectionist and makes sure the job is done right. We are totally happy with the finished product and love having a working spa again!
We chose to have Spa Doctor San Diego service our spa every couple weeks and they keep it in perfect condition… water chemicals are kept on target and the spa and equipment are always in tip top shape, including cleaning the cover inside and out.
We highly recommend Spa Doctor San Diego… we give them five stars!!!
Note: During the renovation we had a neighbor who was not nice to the workers when we had to have a truck and trailer backed up in the driveway to unload 90 pound bags of cement… we had to temporarily block his garage while this was going on. When we realized he needed us to move the truck it was done so quickly. His garage has NOT been blocked in the last two years by our spa service folks, they’ve used our parking space!
