Very professional operated. I have known this shop for long time. They have fixed many of my cars, Japanese cars, German cars, American cars. After work, just like a new car! Very reliable work!

the owner is great. this place has fixed my Volvo three times. Once fixed my front bumper after hitting a large rock on the road and the other the side of my car was backed into. Those were done without insurance and his price was great, less than the other shops. The third time I was rear ended on the freeway and had front and rear damage to my car, this was done through insurance. All the repairs were done great you would never know the car was in an accident. He has also fixed our BMW which had some damage to the back bumper area, the paint work was great. No problems here. Quality shop and would highly recommend this shop.

Whenever I have a finder binder, this will be my 1^st stop. They fixed my son’s car last year an did an amazing job. I was given a fair quote & detailed explanation of the service that was provided. The professional and easy transition with my insurance company was top notch. Thanks again for a job well done.

Took my car in the same day the accident happened. Hrand and his team were able to help me out right away. Being car less he offered me a courtesy ride and kept me updated on when my car would be ready. He was a lot more helpful then my insurance company. I would defiantly recommended going here with any of your car needs.

I was pleased with the work that was done on my 2014 VW Jetta TDI. There was damage to the right front fender and suspension. They used original parts and had the repair done on time. Also the staff was very attentive to my needs. I’m a sceptic with any auto body repair shop but they put my mind at ease taking the time to show me all of the bent and destroyed parts they were replacing. Also they worked with my insurance company (USAA) to handle all of the repairs. Looks and drives like new and they washed and cleaned the inside.

I’ve known this place for at least over 5 years and been going there for any minor and major Autobody repairs, these guys they really take there time to do it perfect. Cause I care for every little details and that’s what really counts for me not how much !!
The quality people like this, always will be in business. I don’t remember the shop foreman name but that guy works until his job is completed not until his time to go home, these little things I care about that they care about people. Because one time after my work, I stopped by for having a quick fix and even though it was 6 pm he still took his time and fix that for me and made my day. Thank you again for the owner Herand and his employees. The best auto body shop I’ve known and highly recommend.

This place is a SCAM. Went to get an Estimate for damage done to my vehicle at Evan’s Tire. These guys starting looking at my truck Before I signed any Estimate of paper work which goes against proper procedure as defined by the Bureau of Automotive Repair. When things start out at a Business that has poor Automotive Protocol they usually end up Terrible at the end. They deserve 0 stars, you will receive poor quality workmanship, I looked inside their Shop, I’ve got more tools than them in my Garage at home. When I questioned their MGR. about his actual Automotive Acumen, a verbal argument ensued, I left, He called the San Marcos Sheriff on me because I insulted his intelligence. This Shop is full of Amateurs!!!

I am not sure why the other positive reviews are not «allowed» or factored into the rating for this company, but I have not one bad thing to say about this place.
I was rear-​ended a few months ago and had to get my car towed. This is the only sketchy issue: I wanted to take my car to the dealership, not knowing that they did not have an auto body repair shop on site. Once the tow-​truck driver informed me of this, he was ADAMANT that he take my car to SCC. I did not like his attitude and I wondered if he and the company had some kind of «deal». So, doing my due diligence, I hoped on Unilocal to see what others had to say.
At first I was VERY concerned because there were a couple of really awful reviews. However, after carefully reading the reviews, I realized that those people had not even gotten any work done at this shop. So… I filtered by search. I admit, I was still uneasy but I decided to give it a go.
While it did take over two weeks to get the car fixed (lots of damage… yikes!), the work done was great… couldn’t even tell there was ever a collision. The owner was there when I picked up my car and was very pleasant, telling me that if there were any problems with the repairs to bring it back in. Well, almost 2 months later, I found that my blinker was not working. My husband drove it to the shop, and no questions asked, they fixed the problem.
I was pleased with the final results. However, since the accident was not my fault, I am not so sure on the pricing… I didn’t get any other estimates, so for that, I cannot advise!

I was OVERWHELMING happy with the customer service and the owner. He went beyond the call to action and helped me out. As a woman who has been a single-​mom it is hard to find people to provide services that don’t try to rip you off. THIS PLACE was honest, specific and I would recommend to anyone.

This has been the second time I’ve gone to the San Marcos Collision Center (Unfortunately, my car has gotten hit twice recently!) I have been extremely happy both times I’ve gone to this repair shop. Tyra and Hrand kept me in the loop about the repairs and the estimated time before they were finished. Also, my car was vacuumed and washed both times when I came to pick up the car.
But most importantly, their work has always been excellent. My car looks like new! I would recommend the San Marcos Collision Center to anyone who is needing body work done on their car!

I would like to thank San Marcos Collision Center for the great job they did on my 2012 Prius. No-​one expects to get in an accident and only wishes for the smoothest possible transaction from the body shop. The owner at SM Collision went above and beyond to get me back on the road. The contacts with my insurance company and myself kept me in the loop of the status of my car. The car was delivered almost two weeks ahead of schedule and below the insurance estimate. The work done was perfect and above what I could have expected. My car was close to being totaled and I never thought it would look brand new again. I would recommend this shop to anyone and will return to them should I need body work again in the future.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is ridiculous. First, Roadway towing came to get my car. The tow guy only told me he was taking my car to this place, and handed me a business card. The tow company was contracted by my insurance company and should have given me a chance to find where I wanted it towed to for work.
San Marcos Collision failed to call me to let me know my car had arrived. I had to call them.
After my car gets there, the owner, won’t even talk to my insurance company. When he does, he gives an outrageous estimate ($ 3800…job ended up costing $ 2300 at another body shop that was less ridiculous to work with). More than this, when I called my insurance to tell them I wanted my car moved out of this body shop and to tell them I was swayed by the tow company, SMC YELLED at my insurance agent telling them that they are coercing me to move my car to another body shop.
Needless to say, this company is in with tow companies in order to try and obtain business through high pressure tactics. They are unethical, unfriendly, and just overall horrible business people. I hope they get shut down.
