Ray’s Famous Pizza & Wings

Hot wings were done right! White Pie add pepperoni = delish. Will come back or have delivered.

Their chicken ranch pizza is definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had; tastes fresh and the crust is surprisingly delicious. The kitchen is clean, and the restaurant is an amazing environment. I’m going to be a regular!

Just revising my old review to say there is no beer selection. My friend brought the beer from the nearby brewery. Just great pizza and wings.

Prices are a little better than prevous owner, and the menu has LOTS more variety! Excellent crust on the pizza, with good toppings and fresh basil. We liked the chicken wings, and we can’t wait to try the calzones & stromboli. This is easily the best pizza in the area.

We eat a lot of pizza and are always looking for a new quality, local option. Rays hits the mark. We’ve had them deliver twice now. Both times were great but today was worth writing about. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is OFF THE CHAIN and the BBQ wings are really good. Delivery was fast both times we ordered.
One thing that I really appreciated this time around is the delivery guy was good enough to immediately point out that we ordered a sprite but he didn’t see it until he got to our door. He said he would return with it asap. He met his promise. I am impressed that he didn’t just hope we didn’t notice (because I probably wouldn’t have realized until he was gone if he didn’t own up to it).
My review here is prompted because the food is Amazing. I also appreciate great character and believe that character like that is reflective of how a business is run from the top down. You guys got a return customer in me with quality food on the first run. You have created a regular with great customer service.

Tonight we went to Ray’s famous pizza and wings and ordered the Veggie pizza. It was awesome with a tasty sauce and veggies. The crust was perfect too.
The menu is improved too from the previous Lucky pizza. I highly recommend Ray’s.

I really feel bad giving Rays just one star but I was very disappointed in my order I just finished. I’ve been going to this place when it was called Lucky, s. And it was one of the best pizzas I ever tasted. Recently ownership changed and the name changed to Rays. No problem but sadly the taste, the crust was doughy and flavor wasn’t the same as the past ownership. When I arrived to pickup my pizza I noticed a little boy in the kitchen a knife in hand acting to cut up toppings. As a restaurant owner myself I know the BOH would fine me for this. Ray please change your recipes back to Lucky, s quality. I want to see you survive this business. I love a good pizza and I want to see you improve so I can give you 5 stars on my next try and hopefully not my last.

They’ve recently just opened so I hope to be able to update my review with a better one in the near future.
Unfortunately, they missed the mark greatly on this first go around.
The staff was helpful and friendly on the positive side.
The interior looks very much the same as that of the former establishment preceding Ray’s move in.
I wondered if it was their wings or pizza that made them famous, but now I believe it’s both that could make them imfamously lousy for both.
The wings were honestly the driest I’ve ever had. I’ve included a picture.
The pizza looked and tasted just okay (see pic) but the crust was shockingly tough.
I’ll give em another go but hopefully they will impress me enough that it won’t be the last. I very much want this place to turn out a decent product as it’s the second closest pizza place close to home and I know I do not care for the one closest to home.
Come on Rays. I have my fingers crossed for you.

We received a coupon on our door. It is terribly hot and I didn’t want to heat up the apartment with cooking dinner so decided I would call the number on the ad. What a pleasant surprise!
The man on the phone was very nice. Said the order would take about 45 minutes. I called during the dinner hour so that seemed reasonable. Arrived within the stated time frame.
Used the coupon, $ 19.99 for a large pizza and 10 wings. The pizza was excellent. The sauce had a nice flavor and it tasted like real cheese. The wings were meaty and not all fatty. The sauce that came with the wings was very good as well.
Overall, very good experience.
