Updated Review. I was «asked» to remove my previous review. Patrick was amazing and turned the whole terrible experience around. He fixed the issue of the missing back door key. He is truly an asset to this company and I hope they appreciate his fine attitude and strong work ethic.

Sean f. Thank you for your comment back but I moved on to the one in Hemet so you will still have my business just not in the San Marcos area, they are truly nice, just don’t want to be calling and begging for some one to help me, it should be the other way around but thanks again.

Okay, I am fully aware of the negative reviews so please read my review before you pass judgment. This review is for a new manufactured home purchased in December 2015 and delivered 01/​19/​2016. Oh and Unilocal,THIS IS A REAL REVIEW! ;-)
First and foremost understand that Sean Feeney cares about only one thing in all these transactions… YOU THE BUYER. Believe it or not Sean 100% cares about you as a person and as a patron at his establishment. He goes above and beyond to accommodate you and understands that your life can’t revolve around Pacific Manufactured homes store hours. Sean would stay well after closing hours to meet with my wife and I due to us both working during there normal business hours (never seen this type of service). During the initial purchasing process of finding the right home Sean was very patient with showing us all our options and putting up with phone calls from my wife at all hours of the day. I was so surprised by how smooth the entire process was with Pacific manufactured homes was. Everything was delivered as promised and when something wasn’t right, Sean was there to fix it.
Keep in mind Sean is very much aware of how many negative reviews there are on his business, and he is making it his personal goal to turn those negatives into positives. Give Pacific Manufactured homes a try and enjoy service you can depend on.

My husband and I were in the market to purchase a new home and since we are on a reservation it can be a bit tricky. When we first made an appointment we met with Sean and told him what we were looking for. Nothing too fancy. Just a simple 3 bed/​2 bath. Sean took us to all of the models and let us know that there were other options available that they didn’t have models for but were in our price range. The home we selected was perfect for us and upon choosing we met to select the finishes we wanted. We were a little concerned with how to do financing since there are very few lenders willing to finance a home on a reservation. Sean made the process incredibly simple and made us comfortable the entire time. He kept in constant contact with us and answered every question we had, even the ones that came to us at 9:00 at night!
Our house was delivered without a hitch and only took 20 minutes to drop on the pad once they arrived. From delivery to move in was only a few weeks and the workmanship was top notch. All of the contractors that worked on the house were very nice. The drywaller they hired was amazing and left no visible seams. There was minimal repair work that needed to be done from the transport and you would never guess that the house came in two pieces!
Patrick was incredible and made several extra trips out to make sure that we had all of our light bulbs and to make sure that everything was in working order.
Marina, in financing, worked with us closely to make sure that we had all of the documentation needed and to make escrow move along without a hitch.
I cannot stress enough how attentive the ENTIRE staff of Pacific Homes are. From start to finish we were treated like family. Sean and his entire staff are to be commended for their professionalism, attention to detail, and the quick manner in which everything went together.
Thank you Sean and team for making the process painless.
I will add as well, we were initially concerned with all of the negative Unilocal reviews that we read and nearly pulled out of the purchase. However, we voiced our concerns with Sean upfront and he made it a point to prove those reviews wrong (which he did with honesty and integrity). We have already and will continue to refer as many people as we can to Sean and his dynamic team, and will definitely be using them ourselves in the future.

Customer service is crap. I did not feel valued. Some of the agents seemed pleasant, but management is lacking professionalism.

Anne Marie Garza is one of the most pleasant, kind, hard working, ethical, and all around professional Manufactured Home Sales individuals my spouse and I know. As soon as I spoke with her the first time over the phone, I could tell I made the right choice, as energy shines through in her voice!
Anne Marie took on the sale of our Cavco Manufactured Home build 9 years ago in 2006, complimented our upgrades, marketed all the positives, and went to work with her creatively stellar sales and marketing techniques! She is a very diligent worker, is never late for Open Houses, and is always an exceptional communicator. We had the home up for sale for awhile when she took on the challenge, and she came through with an offer in less than 90 days.
Anne Marie was respectful of our space and time whenever showing our home. If you want the job done right, hire Anne Marie. Buying and selling a home is stressful enough, but she makes everything so very easy!

Wow. What a horribly run business. Heres the thing. They don’t make money on the houses. Only the installation with THEIR construction business with which they are in cohorts with. Had cash ready to buy and they said they would come look at my site. As soon as they found out I had my own company to install it… they wanted nothing to do with me. Never returned calls. Rude and liars. My father in law warned me years ago never to deal with them. Thought things may have changed. Tim Feeney is a liar and a crook.

We purchased a custom modular home through Pacific Manufactured Homes and are very pleased. i will admit the experience started off with some concerns but I am beyond thrilled we stuck with it. We had some issues with the manufacturer, through no fault of Pacific Manufactured Homes, that Sean Feeney and his team simply took care of. They even fronted the cost to fix the factory’s error so we could keep on schedule! They continue to provide great support and service long after they’ve been paid in full.
Above and beyond expectations!

If you are planning on going there STOP don’t do it. Tom is the most unprofessional person I have run into in a long time. We were told he has a lot of experience but I’m not sure in what area it definitely isn’t with selling homes. You have to make sure you know something about manufactured homes because he won’t just give you any info. The home he kept pushing on us we went to check out, the renter was told that it would only be sold to an investor as she has a lease. We told Tom we are going to live in it not rent it out so not sure why he kept pushing it. Funny thing that seem to be the only home he had for sale. Told us other home are listed on MLS well you need to be a realtor to check the MLS list. I will definitely take my business to TLC manufactured home in Poway, CA. You’ll notice Tom’s last award was in 2005 hmmm. He doesn’t want to talk to you unless you fill out a credit app first but didn’t seem to care or maybe know that it was going to be a hit on the credit report. My advice, RUN in the other direction as fast as you can he doesn’t deserve your business!

First i would like to start stating that the service i received from them was not even satisfactory. i live far away from San Marcos and when we first started picking stuff out i had to tell my salesman over and over what kind of trim color and faucets and tubs and color of floor and carpet etc, a few times. It was very frusterating to say the least as i had to take off work everytime or make a special trip on the weekend, only to return to find out he didnt really make detailed notes of what i wanted and had to start over a few times. I was told by the salesman that they could do in house financing, which i wanted to take advantage of because they said they could also put in the loan the fees for installation by their own crew of men to put in the house. The Financing dept was horrible on returning phone calls along with my salesman. They all drag their feet, please keep in mind i bought in January 2013 2.5 acres, so that means i need to get a house there as quickly as possible. I didnt move in until august 2013. ok so i had to find my own finacing company and then i had to hire my own contractor because they said they laid their workers off because their sales were so slow. Whats funny is they just hire contractors to do this, i don’t really get what happened there. Ok, then, after the house was installed just before my final inspection i had carpet installed. There was an extra vent installed in my sons room for heating and air and 1 less vent cover. I contacted them about it and they said it would be there quickly. 4 weeks went by and they said they sent it to my parent address when i called them back about it. Lol my parents never received anything. so a guy comes out to hand deliver it and it was the wrong color and size lol, in the mean time i wanted him to take some pics and do a walkthrough of some items in the house that were damaged upon the house being built. That was like pulling teeth, i had to contact the manager at their store to have her tell him to take a few moments out of his day to take some pictures for me so we can get things resolved quickly. These damages were important to get done quickly because there are cuts and rips in my guest bathroom that causes water to get under the linoleum and into the wood below. so then then there was also an outlet cover that was crracked as well and damages to my screen door. the next day the gentleman comes back with the correct vent cover but the wrong outlet cover. i called his manager and made a complaint about it and she then stated to me that she is offended and will not be so accomodating to me any more. I have now been calling them for 2 weeks and am not getting returned calls from anyone. the gentle man who came out and took pictures told me to report anything to him and that he would get hallmark to come out within just a few days. i can’t get any response from anyone.

I confirmed with other posts. It was an insult to visit this business. The Tom guy is unprofessional, worst customer service, treats people like they come to beg for selling something, They are not modular homes seller.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Bad customer service, received the WRONG house. Paid full price for a late delivery on a base model that had nothing we ordered. Had to take it because we ran out of money to pay for space rent (we were already in a park, just replacing the home) and an apartment for 6 months longer than expected. They made no attempt to make it right. Don’t buy anything here– you will regret it daily. I certainly do.
