I’ve had two experiences here now and both exceeded expectations. The staff is courteous and knowledgable.

First they took weeks to tell me the new screen for my laptop had been delivered (they forgot about me and I had to call them)
Then when I finally took it in to get the screen replaced, after I paid hundreds of dollars to make my laptop look like new again… there’s a little hair stuck under the screen where they put it back in and the speaker panel cover is PEELING OFF which it has never done before in the 3 years I’ve had this computer.
And they must have banged up my Beats Audio speakers somehow because ever since I got it back my laptop can’t do volume above 50% clearly anymore.
All in all, it’s impossible to find parking I paid hundreds of dollars it took them over a month and my laptop is actually worse off now than when I brought it in.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER GO HERE!!! These guys make fixing your phone a living hell. My girlfriend had to go back 4 times because of their mess ups and they still didn’t fix the phone after she spent over $ 150 for them to do their job. This place is a chop shop for iphones. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Mobile Geeks San Marcos is incredible. They helped me out and did it in a way that made me not only respect them but want to give them even more business on top of that. These people are awesome

Took my phone there for a cracked screen and it’s hasn’t worked correctly since the repairs was far from professional and was basically a hack job

Wow!!! I’m amazed. Same day repair. Within hours.
This morning I dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I couldn’t believe it! I had gone over 5 yrs with an iPhone and it had not happened. Well, I started looking for repair shops. Thanks to Unilocal!I found the «Mobile Phone GeeKs» in San Marcos Tx. I called, Very friendly over the phone took my phone in at 12:45 pm I was assured that it could be fixed and it was ready by 3:00 pm. Same day repair. I’m pleased. They live up to all the excellent reviews here on Unilocal

The phone geeks rock! I’ve used them every time I do something to mess up my iPhone’s and they are always so helpful to resolve the problem quickly. Service is friendly and most importantly they know what they we doing! And a big thanks to Alex for taking care of my last issue. I thought a new screen would be needed … But you knew what to do. And it cost me nothing! You could’ve easily sold me a new screen. Great derives. I’ll continue to bring my business to the geeks in San Marcos !

I first come in to get my shattered screen replaced, they charge me $ 180 and 2 hours after I leave the store my phone screens starts to have a glitch. I go back in to replace it and I don’t get the same color screen back. Then about 3 days later, my phone screen gets worse than before and is completely unable to work. I take it BACK in and again a few days later the microphone and ear piece stops working. Do not even bother bringing your phone here at all, nothing will get fixed and is a complete waste of money and time.

Hmm alex and andrew were very helpful and accommodating and not to mention attractive. They are very helpful and make prices reasonable for customers. I’d go again any time

Do NOT go here! I took my boyfriend’s phone in for a shattered screen, which they charged $ 115 for, and now his phone screen is black, it won’t charge, and they asked for his password, which they didn’t need.
They never called to say his phone was ready, and the guy, Austin, came off as a total douche canoe.
Unfortunately they are the only place in San Marcos, so they know they can screw over all of the college students here.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. The customer service is EXCELLENT and the place is great. I took my phone to them because it didn’t work and they fixed it in less than 15 minutes FOR NO CHARGE. This place is awesome, I really recommend it.

These guys are great… honest Ma n Pa shop. Sometimes, the line is long as they have no front desk help. The techs are the front desk guys.

I was not satisfied with the service this business provided me and would, in most cases, recommend you take your phone elsewhere. If you do not want to read the details, I will sum it up by saying, I was extremely turned off by the lack of professionalism, both on the technical end and the customer service side of things. It felt like they only wanted my money and to get me in and out as quickly as possible.
I decided to take my iPhone to them because I had purchased a new LCD & front glass and did not have enough time to do it myself. My original glass was not broken and I just wanted to change my iPhone to a different color. I usually prefer to do these things DYI because, I want it done the right way.
My phone was re-​assembled very sloppily with, among the many things I noticed, the speaker mesh being out of place and noticeably distracting. I pointed this out to the staff member that re-​assembled the phone, and instead of carefully fixing the mesh, he grabbed a skinny metal tool and started digging at the mesh from the outside, trying to move it. The mesh became bent and is still not seated correctly. I tried to say something about it and he quickly cut me off and said, this happens a lot and not to worry about it as it still works… Ok, then. «Very professional», I thought to myself.
I then noticed when I touched the front glass, the LCD displayed became very distorted in the lower right corner. I also brought this up to the owner, and she mentioned this is also a normal thing and happens a lot to the screens they replace as they are defective. I am sorry, but, I have seen a lot of replacement screens and have a lot of friends who have had their screens replaced, and this is NOT normal. Why would this be normal? She used the terminology «defective», which means, lacking or deficient. The fact that they thought it was a defective screen while it was an assembling issue told me everything I need to know about their attention to detail and skill level.
When bringing up these few items, I felt the staff there really didn’t care because they had already made their money for the replacement.
I will not bring my business to Mobile Geeks in the future.

It’s in a good location (close to campus for college students). They’re good at what they do! Customer service on the other hand. not always the best.

This place is awesome, I had an I Pad with a broken headphone jack and they fixed it on the spot. The customer service was exceptional and I highly recommend them for phone or I Pad repair.

Wow! This place is a hidden jewel. To be honest I was a little skeptical about taking my DROID X there b/​c I figured it’d probably be pretty expensive to fix, but their prices are Great and it only took about 2 hours to fix my cracked LCD screen!
People there are friendly & have really good craftsmanship!
If your PHONE is JACKED UP, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND bringing it here to GET It FIXED!
