Our legal team understands the heavy emotional toll that divorce and other family law matters exact. Because each case has unique circumstances and each person defines «success» differently, we listen to each client’s objectives before creating a legal strategy that will help us achieve those goals.
History
Established in 2011.
Matthew J. Hill — Managing Attorney:
During law school, and even before, Matthew Hill gained a broad understanding of the practice of law having interned and clerked for a Texas County District Attorney’s Office (twice), a Texas District Court Judge, a large Civil Defense firm, and for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in San Antonio. Upon receiving his license from the Texas Supreme Court, Mr. Hill struck out on his own and began his legal career operating his own firm, albeit on a much smaller scale than M. J. Hill & Associates, PLLC.
In June 2007 he began working for what became one of San Marcos’ largest litigation firms. After three and one half years, Mr. Hill decided it was time to make a change and in December 2010 he left his former firm, and opened the doors to M. J. Hill & Associates, PLLC in January 2011 as the firm’s President and Managing Attorney.
