Hello San Marcos residents! We want to help you with all of your technology needs. We opened our first location in Carlsbad in 2010 and heard from more than one San Marcos or Escondido customer that it was quite a trek down to the village.
So in 2012 we opened Chip & Bytes #2 off Grand Ave. The easiest way to reach our new location is to take the 78 Freeway, get off Las Posas going west, and then go North on Grand Ave. If you are coming from the Lake San Marcos area, you may want to take Rancho Santa Fe Road until you hit Grand, go right on Grand, then look for us on your right after the Air Gas building.
Both of our locations are equipped to help you with computer and laptop issues and repairs (both Apple and Windows!), Apple iPhone repairs, and iPad repairs. We currently only offer repairs for the iPhone 4 and 4S.
We offer a Free Diagnostic on all repairs and flat rates for in-store services.
History
Established in 2011.
Chip & Bytes was founded in early 2011. We love San Diego, and it isn’t uncommon to see the Bytes Girls roller-blading or walking some of the North County’s big annual events, like the street faire, handing out flyers and meeting new people. If you are a local resident with a sick computer or laptop, or a local business in need of help with your technology, we would love to help!
Chip & Bytes San Marcos opened in April 2012 to better address the needs of inland North County residents including Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Valley Center, and Rancho Santa Fe.
