My power port is going bad on my laptop. Not being very good with a soldering iron, I called today to ask how long it would take them to swap it out. I was told that my options were to bring it in and leave it there until Monday before they could «take a look at it» (today is Wednesday), or pay $ 75 for an «expediting fee» so that they will look at it sooner. They know people need their computers. This seems like a shady maneuver to milk customers for additional money. I’ll keep looking for a repair shop.

My macbook pro started acting crazy last week. It was overheating, running extremely slow and giving me a flashing folder with a question mark when I booted up. I found CCI here on Unilocal,and decided to give them a call. They were extremely courteous over the phone and told me what they thought the problem might be, so I took my computer in. After a few days they got back and told me they had tried a number of possibilities and could not figure out what was exactly wrong. After a conversation with Kim, the tech, I had pretty much decided that it was the end of my computer. Later in the day they decided to try something else which ended up working! This problem is extremely uncommon to find out, but kudos to CCI for sticking with it. The price was also extremely reasonable. Because of their tenacity, I still have my beloved laptop, and I will definitely be taking any future computer issues to CCI.

This is a family business that you will definitely want to give your business to. Casey returned my call promptly and worked with my full schedule to come to my home within days to set up a new router. He not only got the router going, but he made sure that all the devices in the house were connected to the new wireless, including a new DVD player. And the amazing part is that it took him less than an hour – would have taken me all day to figure it out. And great prices on top of that. Let’s keep this family business in business!

They are a great group of computer experts. I can’t say anything other than if you have any issues with your computer and you can not fix it yourself THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! They are honest and take care of their customers. I use my computer for a home business and they were able to get me back up and running in no time. A pleasant experience all around (given the reality of what I was dealing with)

Here’s an upfront honest business. My son’s Mac computer stopped working and my son thought it was the hard drive. He took it to CCI and since my son has no money, Casey the owner called me. I live in California. He told me the rate to install the drive, the software and he was very reasonable. I was concerned that if it was the motherboard the computer would not be worth fixing. He assured me that he would check it out and let me know before any work was done. Miracle of miracles happened and when the box was opened, it appeared to be a loose connection on the drive. Subsequently he put it back together, called me and did not charge for the inspection. This is the mark of a highly ethical business. I heartily recommend Casey and CCI. They deserve our business and our support. Just try getting that kind of service from one of the big box retailers out there. It won’t happen.
