Seems like a legit location but they made my bubble tea wrong. I’m irritated and already left before I noticed I can’t get it remade now! Thai iced tea has milk, why does mine have no milk in it??? This is obvious. Please figure out how to make drinks correctly.

Not a bad place. Boba was really good but the drink itself was still really powdery. Had the popcorn chicken and, despite having an awesome flavor, more fried tiny bits then actual meat. Well, not the worst but could be better. Really great service though.

Very basic boba shop. Nothing special. Boba had nice soft texture but absolutely no flavor. Milk tea was bland and luke warm. Besides the little to no décor, there were some awkward red chairs to sit on. They had like 2 board games. Free wifi. Decent prices but I would go some where else for good boba milk tea.

I tried hard to like this place because boba shops are rare in North County. The service was great and the staff friendly. We thought it was closed at first since the neon light sign was turned off and the shop was empty. We went in we were greeted by the I owner I assume. She was in the middle of leaving but took our order first. This shop is really out dated. They had a good list of flavors and you have the option of adding boba or jelly for extra. For what you get it felt a little overpriced. The walls are adorned with a photo collage of what I can assume are customers for who knows how long ago maybe the 90’s? They also posted family photos. There is a book shelf with some old games and decorated with fake vegetables. The drinks were decent but left a powder after taste. Boba was cooked really well, it was soft and chewy. I wanted to like this place but I won’t be coming back.

Upon walking in there was a man behind the counter blowing his nose a few times. he then just rinsed it with water. I had to ask him to please wash his hands with soap. I don’t know why he would be startled. you are serving people food that you are preparing with your hands. sanitation questionable.

Good boba and great popcorn chicken. Expect a slight wait, definitely worth the wait.

The place itself is nice, good location, decent choices. My friend had a Coconut slush with leche jelly and it was delicious. The rest of us ordered boba, and it was terrible. I got a taro milk tea with boba. The tea was weak, pretty tasteless. It was actually better than the boba itself, that’s how bad the boba was. The boba tasted like it wasn’t sweetened at all, and it was kept from days ago — not chewy at all.

Always a pleasure coming to this rad place. I’m a local who loves visiting my roots and Bubble Tea is always a destination. So many great memories here. The owner, James, RIP, his family, and staff, Alfonso are great people and workers. Please stop by when you have the chance and enjoy some fine boba drinks and snacks. Great boba place! I love the matcha milk tea! I’ve been to this one and the Oceanside one, but I like this spot better for some reason. It’s actually 5 mins from my house too but it’s rarely ever busy and the workers are super nice!

Lately, every time I go there’s someone new working in the front desk and making the drinks. I do believe the lack of experience making the drinks make a difference in the flavor of some drinks. Last night I ordered the same drink that I been ordering for the past year and this new girl did not drain the boba, but instead scooped out a spoon with boba and tons of sugar(the sugar that you’re suppose to boil the boba so it’s chewy and sweet). I truly tried to enjoy my drink, but I couldn’t. I went back with this nice new employee and I told her that my drink was too sweet and I couldn’t really drink it. The owner came and said that they make it the same, but I have been coming to this place for years and I know my boba drinks heehee. I didn’t want to embarrassed the new girl by telling the owner that I know how boba is cooked and that I saw how much sugar she added to my drink. The owner just told the new employee to add more slushy to my cup, but my drink was just not the same, neither the customer service that they use to have… and to think that this is the place where I sometimes invite my friends to come and hangout. I guess Starbucks it is again!

So I’m not going to lie I’m kinda addicted to boba I come here like once a week… The honeydew milk tea is must and my other favorite is mango kiwi slushy. The building isn’t the greatest it deff needs a remodel it’s been the same for a couple years but I guess it gets the job done. P. s they need to add my picture in the wall.

Went in to order the fried tofu and of course I came during the only time they«don’t have a cook.» So I came in the week after during the time they specified, but guess what? The girl said she could cook everything on the menu, except the tofu. I’m starting to think they don’t really have tofu. SMH.

For those looking for a study spot, this is not the ideal study spot. There are not many outlets and the chairs are extremely uncomfortable to sit in. If you need to use the bathroom, you need to go through the kitchen area. They only use powders and syrups in their drinks. No fresh fruit. All hot snacks are $ 5.50. I ordered the popcorn chicken and a Thai iced tea with boba. The popcorn chicken was more fried bits and less meat; their Thai tea was strong; and the boba was chewy, but smaller than usual. There is a $ 0.25 charge for using credit card regardless of the amount spent.

I legitimately am in love with Bubble Tea! Sometimes I even show up twice a week. The taro, chia tea and Thai tea ice cream shakes are the . I’ve filled up three of their stamp cards(if that doesn’t tell you how much I love them, I don’t know what will.) if they opened a store in Escondido, I’d be extremely overjoyed. So that should happen sometime soon.

Friendly service, decent thai iced tea when I need a fix. 25 cents and you get extra — and I mean EXTRA — boba. Mmmmmm. It’s the kind of place I feel like my 19 year old self would have loved to hang out at with my friends, playing board games and being nerdy while drinking our thai iced tea. Not really trendy, not really hip, not really fancy… and they serve ramen noodles.

I was disappointed when I came here. Milk teas taste like water with flavored powder. I ordered grape, strawberry, strawberry rose with boba. They all tasted too watery. Oc has better boba places to go, but it is an okay place to come while you are in San Marcos and craving boba. Even though service was good. I think they dont deserve more than three stars for the taste.

This boba spot was pretty random. My friend and i just finished eating at Slaters 50⁄50 and we were in the mood for boba. So we found this place on Unilocal. The guy helping us was very nice. but as soon as we walked in it was very slow. So with that being said i didnt expect my order to be wrong. I specifically asked for a iced green tea with boba. I got a matcha ice blended green tea with boba. I didnt want to wait to get my order ready so i just drank it. and of course there was milk in it. but i didnt find that out till later –______-. this place is pretty far from where i live and i doubt ill be here again. But like i said the guy was pretty nice.

At first I was very hesitant to try this place, but they have Consistently good boba. I’m super picky about my boba and everything about it here is great. The customer service could use some improvement though. My favorite drink is the Thai iced tea with boba. Of course

I have come here a few times since moving to San Marcos. My first impression, along with my roommates’, was that Bubble Tea was meh. However, we would continue to come here to get our much-needed boba fix in San Marcos. I mean, it is a far drive to go south to Mira Mesa from North County just for boba. Last night, I came again to meet up with a friend around 11PM. Turns out practically everything is closed in San Marcos by that time, but not Bubble Tea! Bubble Tea is open until midnight, and it actually draws quite a crowd even so late at night. The staff were polite and friendly, and service was surprisingly fast. So yes, I am a fan of the local boba shop! One minor observation/complaint is that my friend ordered the hot chai tea, and it came in a regular iced boba cup(plastic) and sealable lid(also plastic). My friend had trouble drinking it because the drink was piping hot, not to mention it is cancerous to consume hot items in plastic! I would recommend using cups that are made specifically to tolerate hot drinks. Lastly, this place is not cash only, but they do charge for credit card transactions. Also, get a stamp card!
