Adobe Lock & Safe

Called to see if they had a blank key for my boat hatch cover and the response I got was to «go look closer to the water». A-​1 carries this particular key so it really wasn’t as stupid of a question as he made it out to be. True A-​1 is closer to the water but I believe that’s just a coincidence.

Great lock smith Terry was a lot of help and gave good advice and did not charge an arm and a leg other companies wanted ridiculous fee and did not come to help

Everyone or Adobe is very helpful, they know my needs and if they can’t help me it send me where I can get the right help. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my lock or key needs.

14 years ago, Terry re-​did all of the external locks on our house (we didn’t trust the junk that the developer had put in). Excellent service, excellent advice. Today, our front door handle lock failed (installed by the developer). My wife called Terry and he and another guy came out immediately even though it was late in the day. Terry spent tons of extra time explaining what was wrong, fixing it, and then giving us advice on how to replace the entire assembly if it ever fully fails. And all at an incredibly reasonable price. Can’t say enough good things about him. BTW, all of the locks that Terry installed 14 years ago are still in perfect working condition. If I didn’t work so far away (Point Loma), I’d tell my boss to use Adobe for all of our offices’ lock and safe needs.

I highly recommend Adobe! He arrived very quickly the same day I called, rekeyed my doors in no time, and all in a friendly, caring manner. He even helped me tap the pins into the hinges in my front door because they weren’t completely set. The service was above and beyond my expectations!

What a pleasant experience! I called them this morning because I was having trouble with my front door. They tried to direct me over the phone as to what to do. How refreshing is that!!! Anyway, that didn’t work. Terry came out to the house, fixed the problem in record time. He was kind courteous and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again!

I recommend this place to anyone! They are very nice, professional and a reasonable price. Terri was amazing. they have a $ 55 trip charge to come to the house and its $ 15 per lock to rekey. Its a pretty standard charge but he was ontime and friendly. He took the time when I called to explain my differant options and gave me a estimate that was exactly what he told me when it was time to pay. Joeylynn

After contacting 4 other locksmiths in the Escondido area and its vicinity, Adobe Lock & Safe won my business. The technician was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, competent and kind. He (Terry) met w/​us on the same day, on time while none of the others would as it was Friday’s afternoon. He fully assessed each of our locks and thoroughly went through the mechanics of maintenance and repairs w/​us. This is after fully explaining the pros and cons of lock replacements, material standards, quality of makers. He worked fast, and was thorough in his inspections and replacements for each of the doors of a relatively large house, provided us w/​new sets of keys, all at a reasonably affordable price. This is as good as it gets!

Okay, the place is nothing special, but these guys are the best! They were so helpful and sweet this morning. I needed the knob for my deadlock, which is special order, but they helped me find a solution with parts available at Home Depot. They even told me to come back again if I needed more help. They are just really nice, upstanding guys!
