2kool4skool Started out as a small guitar shop in Los Angeles and moved down to Carlsbad in 2006. Serving all of the North County Coastal San Diego community for a number of years, owner Steve Barry has become well known for his friendly smile and good deals. Now Based in San Marcos, just a 10 minute drive or less from Vista, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Cardiff, Rancho Santa Fe Olivenhain and San Elijo, We are centrally located and convenient to a huge number of musicians. Business Owner

Steve Barry is a founding member of the band Cirrus who toured worldwide and released 3 full length albums between 1995 and 2003. In addition to writing and producing music for over 100 movies, video games and TV shows such as the Devils Advocate, Gran Tourismo and CSI, Steve’s music has also appeared on the Billboard Charts 7 times. After starting a family and growing tired of «the road» Steve decided to fulfill one of his dreams of opening a music store close to the sea. Now you can come visit, swap stories and play some sweet music. Steve is here most days and is known to jam on the guitar with customers, so watch out!
