Sunshine Diaper Service

I can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Sunshine Diaper Service. We’ve been using their service for the past six months. As a new mom, there were so many things I was learning all at once – breastfeeding, functioning with lack of sleep, and how to take care of a newborn infant. It was such a HUGE relief that on top of that, I didn’t have to worry about cleaning diapers.
Their service was fantastic. They always picked up diapers in a timely way. The owner was so on top of it that often she would check in with us when were about to move up a size to ensure that diapers were still fitting our baby properly. Once, we were running late from a trip and weren’t going to be home in time to leave out our diapers. We called as soon as we realized that we wouldn’t make it. They were flexible and understanding and picked up our diapers the following day.
Plus, it felt good to support a local family business. Emily Moraga and her husband run this company. I first met them at a workshop they facilitated where they went over their service and also how to cloth diaper. I was clueless and appreciated the tutorial and hands on demonstration for how to use different folding techniques. They brought dolls and diapers for us to practice our newfound skills. They were patient when describing techniques and just super nice and warm people.
Now that we’ve become breastfeeding and infant caregiving pros (well, maybe not pros but far from newbies), we feel that we can take on doing our own diaper laundry. We’ll miss Sunshine’s fantastic service, but it’s comforting to know that if we ever feel overwhelmed again, that we can turn to their service for help.

I highly recommend Sunshine diaper service. As someone who loves the idea of cloth diapering (less chemical exposure, less diaper rash, and less environmental impact) but doesn’t like the idea of washing diapers myself this service was a perfect fit.
My husband was the one I had to convince. His verdict, if it’s the same cost and just as convenient we’ll try it. Needless to say, the service has been very convenient. The weekly delivery of fresh diapers to our doorstep is amazing and just as easy use as disposables. The cost is on par with disposables. My husband has been converted.
Lastly, Emily Moraga, the owner, is sweet and very easy to work with if we needed to adjust any order.

I highly recommend Sunshine Diaper Service. If you’re on the fence about diapers, this is a great service to try with no big $ commitment. And you’ll probably find it’s so easy you’ll stick with it. It’s also great if you want to cloth, but don’t have the time (or energy with a newborn) to keep up with the laundry.
After our baby was born we diapered with disposable for a week. Our little one was getting small, red rashes, and the strong smell of the diapers were making us question why we were exposing our little one’s bum ²⁴⁄₇ to such chemicals. However, we hate doing laundry, and weren’t convinced our low efficiency (poor cleaning) front loading washer would really clean cloth diapers. We found Sunshine service through a google search and contacted them. We set up a VIP service and have been SO satisfied with their prefolds and help getting us started with cloth. Not only do the diapers look and smell fabulous, they have taught us how to fold,
They do a pick up and drop off every week, we just leave dirties on the porch. At first, they provided 100% of the supplies, and slowly we’ve been purchasing some items (covers) which reduces the cost. I was worried cloth would wake him up if he was really wet at night, but I have tested both and he still sleeps the same amount. Plus, they recently expanded their service to include some all-​nighter diapers.
