Awesome customer service! The wi-​fi was down at my restaurant — but before I could contact Norcast, they called me! Said they had noticed it was down and walked me through reconnecting. Pro-​active customer service! What a concept

After a bad experience with AT&T customer service, we found Norcast in San Luis Obispo. They have an awesome business model — great sales process, good customer service, knowledgeable staff, and far better pricing than AT&T to top it all off! Not once complaint from me. Anytime I call, they resolve my needs on the spot or follow up. Dump AT&T now.

When there’s a problem, local service handled by people who are competent professionals and speak English is invaluable… and unusual. There are very few problems with Norcast service, but when there is, their staff us extraordinary and they solve and issue quickly.

I have been using both Norcast and Blue Rooster phone and internet services for years. I am very happy that they became one! On the rare instance that there is something wrong with my service I often find myself on the phone with the same reliable support team members, and even the owners of the company on occasion! They react swiftly and efficiently to all of my needs and I would not consider any other provider. Thank you NORCAST!

Norcast is great! We switched from at&t to support a local business with no price increase! They hooked up a T1 connection, two business lines and fast internet. Completely happy since day one. courteous and helpful installers, and after a recent challenge hooking up some additions to our system, I have to say that their tech team is awesome, patient, friendly, and professional! Thank you Norcast for being an awesome LOCAL provider for our telecom needs!

About a year ago I cancelled an account that we had at ATT for our fax line and moved it over to Norcast. Saved us money and they have been great to work with. Recently I was able to move my main business lines over to Norcast from ITS. I had wanted to move the lines for over 2 years, but my old company was going to charge me a cancellation fee equal to my average bill times the number of months that I had left on my contract. Not only was that a total rip, but they wanted $ 250/​hour to come out and fix two of my lines that hadn’t functioned correctly since I had signed up with them. Norcast was able to fix the problem and my bill is less than half what the other company was charging. When I told ITS that I was leaving because of the price difference they said they would be willing to charge me less. No thanks! Norcast has been totally up front and I have recommended them to some of my friends.

I first contracted with Norcast in my capacity as the Operations Manager for an business in Arroyo Grande. We previously had charter and a slow connection speed. Once we transitioned to Norcast, there was an immediately noticeable increase in speed AT A GREATLY DISCOUNTED COST! Their customer service is unbeatable. From Nick in sales, to Orah in the office and ending with Robert the technician, I had a great experience.
Since then, I have contracted with Norcast to provide internet service at my house, at a second office of the business in Templeton.
Most recently, I contracted with Norcast in my job in SLO to provide internet, phone and data services. They cut our almost $ 800 bill in half!!! In almost two years of being a loyal Norcast company, I have referred anyone and everyone looking to change their service carriers.
I cannot leave out that they are a LOCAL COMPANY. When you have an issue, you call someone physically here in SLO who can usually resolve any issue you have within minutes.

I started using Norcast about eight years ago for my office. Previously I have my phone and internet with a major carrier but every time I had an issue it would take them hours if not days to respond. Norcast has always been responsive to any and all issues I have had with my service or billing. When I call, not only do they know who I am, most of the time I know them as well.

When we decided to go with Norcast we had just gotten great pricing from another service provider except when it came down to it, after having a 3 hour meeting with the sales rep and signing contracts and everything, they couldn’t use our existing phone lines. They came back to us with a build out fee of over $ 500. We were shocked and honestly a little timid to work with another company, for fear that we would be in the same boat with them.
Norcast was amazing — our initial meeting with Steve was about an hour and really that was all it took. He even worked with us to get us close to the deal we were promised by the other company. There was a deep sincerity and care to his demeanor. When we called with questions — we could talk straight to him. We had a lot of questions and he never once made us feel like a nuisance or put us off.
He even gave us a few references that we called to get their take on Norcast before we signed up.
We have had Norcast for about 4 – 5 months now and so far so good. The internet speed is wonderful — so much better than the service we had before. We love the voicemail capabilities to ensure we don’t lose out on any potential business.
Norcast was very detail oriented when taking our order and they even simplified our lines — apparently we’d been paying for 2 carry over lines that weren’t even necessary — instead of taking that extra money from us — they helped us simplify. They are honest, friendly and always available when you call. Love that they are a local company with no hidden agendas or hidden charges — very straight forward and we could not be happier with our decision.
Other stand outs that come to mind are Orah and Brent. When you call them, you get an answer and their time. One time I called Orah because our internet was not working and it turned out to just be a glitch with our router. She sat with me the whole time while I unpluged it, waited 15 seconds and plugged in back in. All was well again. Brent was amazing with the billing questions we had — he didn’t have the answer right off hand, but he said he’d call me back with one and he did. They are on their game at Norcast. They follow through and we recommend them highly!

Want a change from the huge near monopolies of the big Phone/​Internet providers? Then Norcast is your answer. I use Norcast in my business, and deal with their customers on a regular basis. I always ask their customers how they feel about their service, and I always get positive replies. Customer service is hard to find these days, so I value it above all else. Norcast will have an actual human answer the phone when you call, and they recognize you as a customer right away. When you call you don’t have to press buttons to get routed, don’t have to enter account numbers or jump through any hoops to get your questions answered. I rely upon their internet and phone service in many ways, and they provide the most reliable service I have ever experienced.

Norcast has been awesome as my phone and internet provider– what I love most is the service and the cost. I am a small business owner so every dollar counts-​When the economy started going downhill a few years back I started looking for ways to save money, but not give up quality. I was told by a client to try Norcast. I have 2 phone lines and a fax line and internet, and the savings is noticeable, but the service is the best deal– we stream music, have clients using the internet too, and it works great! I had my service with a big name competitor for quite a while and we had so many problems, when we would call for service, I was just another ‘number’ and then put on a list for a day or two for service! With Norcast they know who you are and come out right away– they also try to help you problem solve over the phone. If you are looking for an alternative solution to your phone and internet I would highly recommend calling Norcast!

Norcast has been a great, reliable local solution for our home and small business. We love the employees. They are so helpful, they put your needs above yours. Brent is particularly helpful to us, pulling records for us, answering questions about hardware and setting up the phone system… and he’d not even our technician, he’s in accounting. That’s the level of customer service we appreciate about Norcast. We would recommend them for either residential or commercial use.

I love everything about Norcast! I manage the office for a small business and have been looking to streamline expenses, etc. Decided to try switching to Norcast from AT&T and have been so happy so far. I love the local, direct service. Today I had to call about a minor issue and the CEO himself picked up because everyone else was handling other calls. Even the techs that set up the service told me they actually like working for this company because their coworkers are wonderful and they are treated well. I would highly recommend giving Norcast a try and keeping it local!
Update: I literally decided to get on Unilocal just to say how much I like this company, and I noticed they actually have over 20 filtered review! Apparently, they are getting too many good reviews and that looks suspicious to the Unilocal filter. Read the filtered reviews! You’ll get a more accurate picture of this great company.

I had Norcast for 3 years. I loved it for a while because if my phone and internet went down I would just call and someone would answer no machine ever picks up. I liked how it was a local company and they would send someone out soon. But it was getting kind of old my phone and internet were going down monthly almost and our business is run through our phone lines so that was unacceptable. we switched over to a more reliable company for almost the same price.

As of 4÷11÷2013 when I post this, Norcast has one posted review and 23 filtered reviews! What’s up with that?
Norcast’s phone service has been down for two days now. No explanation from Norcast. Just «we’re working on it.» Completely unacceptable.

Norcast is an quality telephone company that operates in San Luis Obispo County. They have been saving businesses money on phone bills and internet, while delivering a high level of expert customer service for many years.
Robert, the Norcast technician, arrived this morning to upgrade our internet speed. He was gracious, helpful and highly professional — he executed the upgrade quickly and took care of everything. Troy at corporate called right after Robert had completed the upgrade to make certain we were up and running. We are pleased with our new internet speed which will make us more efficient managing online advertising campaigns for our clients (regional to international companies).
We highly recommend Norcast to other businesses who often don’t realize they have a choice in communication companies.

My firm has used Norcast for a while now and are pleased with the quality/​speed of service and very much enjoy the local responsive customer service. We have found them to be excellent in communication and responsive if we ever have an issue, which is rare.
They are also proactive in that they just had someone here the other day to check our speeds, see that all was as it should and then see if/​how they could improve things. While he, Frank, was here we asked a few questions about some phone settings. Frank listened, then showed me how to adjust to my preference and additionally followed up with an email detailing the process.
The personal service and knowledge that they are a phone call and a few miles away, coupled by the fact they seem to actually care is what makes them excellent and recommended!

I love Norcast. I am a small business owner that was tired of the high priced big phone companies. A friend of mine told me about Norcast’s $ 99 bundle deal and I thought it was too good to be true… but it is true! I’ve been a customer there for a couple years (2 or 3) and my service has always been outstanding. The phone lines or internet have dropped maybe 2 times since I’ve been a customer (happened more often with the bigger companies) and both times when we called them they were already on it. and one time it was on a weekend! I am so happy with their service!
