Mason and Megan are the absolute best– and choosing them as our wedding photographers was the easiest, and best decision we ever made!
They are efficient, professional, kind, accommodating, personable, and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about them! I loved having Megan hang out with me while I got ready, she really made me feel at ease and just had a nice, calming presence about her. She also made it more fun!
On your wedding day, you’re going to be interacting and spending more time with your photographers more than most of your guests, and we were so happy to be around Mason and Megan on our special day! They are an amazing duo, you feel like you’ve become close friends with them, and they take amazing pictures.

Choosing Mason and Megan as our wedding photographers was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. They are so fun to work with and make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. These two work so well together and are incredibly talented in capturing beautiful, candid moments and working with natural light. They were so organized and got all of the special moments during our big day without us having to worry about anything. I can honestly say you will not be able to find better photographers than these two. My husband and I are so so so happy with everything they did. Mason and Megan are such a lovely, professional, and personable photography team whose greatest strength lies in their ability to capture light, color and movement. My husband and I knew we wanted someone would give us high quality images that preserved the natural vivid hues of our venue rather than overly processed, filtered images (the latter of which seems to be a fad right now, but that we personally don’t think will age particularly well). We found what we wanted in Mason and Megan, who were a delight to work with during our engagement session in San Luis Obispo and even more so at our wedding in Vista, CA. The guests raved about how sociable and on top of everything they were. They went the extra mile to ensure that we got the photos we wanted without ever making us feel that we were being pulled away from the crowd, something I would imagine is quite a difficult feat for photographers. We thought our wedding was beautiful, but we agreed that it seemed even more so in the photos that Mason and Megan delivered to us. Of special note: Mason and Megan sent our wedding photos in an adorable package filled with prints, a thank you card, and an engraved flash drive — the presentation was really impeccable. We know that high quality wedding vendors can be difficult to find, but we can say with absolute certainly that we found exactly what we wanted in Mason and Megan, and we give them our highest recommendation to any couple searching for a wedding photographer. You won’t be disappointed. They are a joy to work with.

Mason and Megan are outstanding. We booked them on a referral from another SLO photographer for our Cali wedding this past summer – just a little nerve-​racking, as we are Minnesotans and wouldn’t be able to meet with Mason and Megan prior to the wedding.
All hesitations were put at ease the day of the wedding.
I could literally go on forever about how great these two are, but in the interest of being helpful…
1] They take absolutely breathtaking pictures. The lighting they grab, the moments they catch – amazing.
2] The pictures get done FAST! This isn’t surprising as they were prompt on everything, but it is so nice to have pictures within a few months of the wedding.
3] They are fantastic at catering to their models. {Can I call myself that? Yes? K, great.} They asked a lot of questions about what we wanted and what we didn’t in an initial g-​chat consultation, and actually respected that when we got to the big day.
4] This might seem weird to say, but you actually enjoy having them at your wedding. It’s such a meaningful day that, frankly, you don’t want to share with just anyone. They are both wonderful, fun people that, themselves, share such an obviously sweet love… it’s just a great vibe to bring to the first day of the rest of your lives.

We absolutely loved working with Megan and Mason! We got to know them as they shot our engagement photos which was a really nice touch because it allowed us to know who our photographers were before our wedding. They make taking pictures, which can be somewhat stressful, really fun and enjoyable. They brought the best out of us in all of our photo shoots. But the most important thing is that the pictures turned out even better than we could have hoped! The proof is in the pictures and we have an incredible collection of pictures to remember our special day by!
Megan and Mason were there before anyone else was on the day of our wedding. They knew every shot that they were going to take and didn’t waste time on anything meaningless. They also were flexible when they needed to be and did a great job at making the day be about the bride and groom and not just their photography. They knew when to speak up with an idea but also fed off the ideas of other really well. We loved working with a couple. Megan is a joy to be around and Mason compliments her well. They always got the right shot without feeling like the weight of the world depended on it.
We would highly recommend Mason and Megan to anyone in need of a photographer. We loved working with them and couldn’t ask for better photographers.

They are an extremely efficient team, using every second to capture another part of your event and see new photo opportunities around every corner. They shot my engagement photos as well as my wedding and 5 stars is just not enough to show how professional, affordable, and truly wonderful they are.
Mason and Megan made sure to get the specific photos we wanted but didn’t leave it all up to us to pose ourselves. They were great at moving family photos along and made us feel like it was still our special day and gave us space too!
I would use Mason and Megan for any major event or family photo shoot in the future.

I haven’t the slightest bit of hesitation giving this wonderful pair a perfect 5 star review. Mason and Megan shot my wife and my’s engagement photos and wedding photos, and the results were tremendous. The energy and passion that they brought was incredible and not only did the shots look great, they made them a lot of fun to take. Each of them has their own eye which leads to really creative shots, but they collaborate so well that you feel like they have already planned out exactly what they want leading to easy transitions and a zero stress environment.
At the reception, Mason and Megan could be seen in the middle of the dance floor getting bumped back and forth by everyone dancing, but the fun photos they got by getting in the middle of the action were some of our favorites from the evening.
If you want photos that look like they were taken from within the celebration and capture the true emotions of the day, you’ve found the right pair. I could go on and on about these two, but I think I’ve made it pretty clear that you’d be making a mistake if you look any further.

These two are not just wonderful people, but inspiring photographers. From beginning to end they made it easy and stress free, I never once had to worry about my pictures or that Mason and Megan wouldn’t make it work. They were very flexible with our needs, our budget, and had so many great ideas so that we could get what we wanted.
I found that they were very reasonably priced, but you could never tell from the pictures because they looked very expensive! I still have people telling me that they have never seen such incredible pictures before!

Mason and Megan were by far the best vendors we worked with while planning our Santa Barbara wedding. They were always prompt and patiently responded to many, many emails during our planning process. They were organized and always so warm and kind to us. Our engagement shoot and wedding photos couldn’t have turned out prettier. It’s hard to know which ones to frame because there are so many we love. Even our families complimented us about how friendly and great they were to have at our wedding and reception. They had a great way of making you laugh and smile naturally and made all the picture taking fun and stress free. I’ve been in other wedding where the photographers made the wedding party feel rushed or stressed. Not the case with these two! We couldn’t have been happier, 5+ stars all the way. If only we could get married every year and do it all again :)

My now husband and I had a great experience with Megan and Mason at our wedding about 10 months ago. The recommendation to use them came through other photographers… the recommendation did not disappoint!
Since we’re in the Bay area, my then fiancé and I weren’t able to meet up with Megan and Mason in person until the day of the wedding… this would usually be a big no-​no for most events, especially weddings! But because Megan and Mason were so easy to work with and were so good about communicating through Skype and email the weeks leading up to the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. They were great about working with our budget and with the timeline of the day. They put my non-​English speaking parents and relatives at ease with the chill demeanor and got great shots of our friends and family throughout both the ceremony and the reception, which was super important to us. All of my overseas relatives raved about the quality of our photos!
In short, I highly recommend this dynamic duo for all your wedding photography needs… :)

Mason & Megan were great from beginning to end. Our first meeting with them was over Skype and we could instantly tell that they would be the perfect fit for our wedding and style. We wanted to tailor the package a little to fit with our wedding and budget and they were more than willing to help where they could.
They were easy to work with and very organized. They made sure they captured all of the images that we were expecting as the couple. Their ability to take photographs while not interrupting the moment was great. They managed to capture the overwhelming feel of love and joy at our wedding which was so special to us. They were able to capture unforgettable moments, while still being mindful to not keep us away from our guests for too long. They were flexible the day of and went above and beyond what we expected of them.

Looking back at our wedding, we felt so fortunate to have chosen Megan and Mason as our photographer/​videographer for the day. I felt they captured true moments of our wedding and were flexible in their photography styles to capture both our eastern and western ceremonies.
Megan was able to capture candid moment like our surprised response when my now husband, went through the front door and saw me for the first time in my traditional dress during our tea pouring ceremony. When we got our photographs, we felt like we were reliving our wedding, but from a different perspective.
One of my concerns after the wedding was if everyone had a good time (I guess this is a typical stress of every bride) and I was so happy to see everyone smiling in the pictures.
Before the western ceremony, at the church, I was so nervous. I didn’t know how to properly put my dress on. I was a general nervous wreck. Megan was not only our photographer, but you made me feel confident and reassured me JUST when I needed it. I felt like she understood how I felt and did everything in her power to make me feel calm. Thank you.
Megan and Mason work together so well and I felt I sense a calm between the two. I just put my trust in their hands.
What I wanted in my wedding and photographs style was natural colors and beautiful moments. One of my favorite photos is of my husband giving me a kiss and in the picture, you can see in the background that it’s green, the lighting is perfect, the sun was perfect, and I felt that kiss. It was a moment, frozen in time, captured by Megan and Mason, in a photograph.
If there was anything I could change, it would have been that we went around and took pictures with the guests (we totally forgot about this).
