Cucina Kitchens and Baths is a local custom cabinet manufacturer. We provide cabinetry for any room in the home, office or commercial space. Cucina also specialize in space planning, design and material selection. We pride ourselves in a high quality product tailored to fit your needs and home. We bring to our projects an award winning design staff that has been recognized by Viking Range Corporation, Lindell Homes, and numerous unsolicited newspaper articles. Houzz​.com has also twice recognized Cucina for best of customer satisfaction.

Our extensive background as custom fabricators enables us to provide techniques such as close radius post forming, advanced bending and forming, as well as curvilinear casegoods, furniture and millwork in solid woods, veneers and plastic laminates. Although our focus has primarily been residential projects, we also provide fine office interiors for a number of different industries including medical, dental, bank interiors, and more.

History

Established in 1980.

In 1985 Cucina Kitchens and Baths relocated from Phoenix, Arizona to San Luis Obispo, where we began to produce the area’s first true European cabinets. In 1990 we opened our first showroom in San Luis Obispo and became the first (and only) fully custom, local manufacturer to provide a complete design service. Over the last twenty-​four years we have continued to refine our design approach of maximizing kitchen ergonomics while meeting the project’s aesthetic criteria, whether it be Traditional, Tuscan, Victorian, or Contemporary.

Prior to relocating to San Luis Obispo, Cucina Kitchens and Baths has been producing challenging projects for a wide range of industries. These projects date back to 1980, when our business began, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Business Owner

Cindy Collins began studying architecture and design on the East Coast in the early 1970’s. In the beginning of her career she focused on industrial and commercial design as well as residential projects. During these years she gained extensive knowledge in furniture and millwork design, as well as manufacturing. Along with this, Cindy honed her natural gift of space planning into a specialty service. She brings this expertise to every project.
