History

Established in 2007.

Bloom Invitations began in 2007 when I got engaged and realized I could not find anything out there that captured the essence of my wedding day in the way I had envisioned. I decided to use my background in art and create my own, one-​of-​a-​kind, wedding package. The positive feedback that I got was more than I had ever expected. I soon had friends calling and asking me to create custom invitation designs for their events. Word eventually spread and I now am lucky enough to have completed jobs for clients up and down California.

Hi!

My name is Kayla. I’m the owner and designer of Bloom Invitations, a small stationary studio near San Luis Obispo, California. Not only do I have a graphics background, but I have a degree in Interior Design and am therefore always inspired by the goings-​on of the design and architecture world. I love vintage wallpaper patterns, mod tile, and lighting design, and often am inspired to incorporate them in some way or another into my work. I am a work-​a-​holic, Chai Latté addict and lover of all things bread. If I’m not in my studio working, I am swirling new ideas around in my head.
