We have been operating for nearly 40 years, And our crew is very detail oriented and here to work with you. We specialize in interior and exterior painting, both commercial and residential, removal of non-​asbestos popcorn ceilings, wall paper removal, texturing, and all things paint related.

We currently have 10 employees and each one will greet you with a smile and willing to go the extra mile.

History

Established in 1973.

J and D painting was started by Harold Jagoda and has been owned and run by him since 1973. He has three sons whom hopefully one day will carry on the family business.

They did an excellent job painting our kitchen. The work was done within our budget, crew started work as planned and finished within the time promised. Everything was protected and work site left clean at completion of job.

Underspray. Overspray. Not cleaning before painting. Forgotten doors and closets. Painting over plumbing. Some of his crew was great, but others just plain yelled at me for asking why they painted over dirt and cobwebs. After the 5th or 6th time I had to call them back to fix their own work, I just had enough and did it myself.
And to top it off, they listed me as a satisfied customer reference without even asking me.

I only needed a small bathroom painted but I am extremely happy with the excellent job J&D Painting did. A couple of spots on the wall were cracked and peeling and the repair they made is invisable no matter how hard I look. Harold was very patient working within my schedule. They take extreme care in masking and covering everything up before they start. I can’t find a speck or spatter of paint anywhere. I have a few other areas in my house that also need attention and Harold will definitely be getting all of my future painting business.

Hiring J&D painting was one of the best contracting decisions I’ve ever made. The owner is an outstanding guy who will work with you, communication with you, and make sure the job gets done the way you want it to get done. They have a large crew that was capable of completing our project in half the time other companies were asking for and the job they did was phenomenal. They all had very close attention to detail and the paint work was precise. It was very impressive the way they all worked together to do great work in little time on a complex job (demolition of planking & molding, mudding & texturing, repairing large holes in the walls, etc.).
