Ed Main Photography

An update to my earlier review. Ed met with me personally to apologize for his inability to fulfill his obligations to us after our daughter’s wedding in 2012. Ed explained that he was dealing with some personal challenges at the time and he owned that he completely dropped the ball. Ed brought with him a flash drive memory stick that contained all of the digital pics that he had taken from the wedding, as well he gave us an amazing hardcover book that he had made of the wedding event.
In the end, I truly feel that Ed was sincere in his apology and that he has «right sized» his business to a level that he can keep up with… so I would not hesitate to use him again, as his work is amazing!

I wish it were possible to give no stars! Ed Main must be writing these other reviews by himself through separate accounts or paying people. The work is below average and definitely a rip off! Ed main knows little about lighting and effects. His work is only comparable to that of an amateur who bought equipment and figured he could make quick money off of scamming people. He over charges and doesn’t tell you up front that he will not print the photos for you and you basically have to hunt him down to ever get them. I figure he’s off somewhere enjoying your money by then. The quality of his pictures are terrible! Your better off using your own camera and photoshopping. He doesn’t even pay attention to detail when it comes to setting up a shoot and knows nothing about cropping as well. Its a scam! Save your hard earned money. The quality is extremely low and working with him is something like highway robbery! Very low quality results!

I was intro’d to Ed through a close friend of mine when we were looking for a photographer for our wedding. We talked to several other folks but we «clicked» with Ed. We were looking for the type of photographer who had an eye for what we felt was important about our day: Our family, our closest friends and the fun that we have together. Ed nailed it!
He showed up early, worked his rear off the entire day and our photos came out amazing.

We worked with Ed again, this time for our maternity photos. He’s easy to work with and very talented. We feel comfortable with him and am sure it will show in our shots. Ed has a great eye and a unique artistic style. He also got low on the ground to get different angles. It was a fun photoshoot, and everything just flowed today! He’s skilled with lighting.
I’ve seen his portfolio evolve since first working with him and can tell he gains more and more depth with each shoot. He can make urban and street photos pop, but can also show a softer side with engagement and maternity photos. Again, I’m excited to see the results! It’s always a pleasure working with him.

Ed has swag son! And for that reason he received the highest marks I can give him.
His positive, can-​do attitude really shined thru on the day of my wedding. His professionalism really came thru when he promptly responded to my initial contact. He has a large amount of focus and his passion for getting the best shot possible really shines thru. His wife and partner in greatness and a great assistant. She was a BIG help as the day passed. She had great ideas for shots and really just was a pleasant person to be around.
I had never worked with a professional photographer before and honestly — I dont want to work with any other photographer’s besides him. As long as he is alive ill be calling him to capture some of my life’s greatest moments.
They arrived early, they work fast, organized and had a vision of what they wanted for us before they arrived. The relationship that I was able to develop with him started out as professional, but turned into a friendship towards the end. While he was at the event, I made sure that he was comfortable and well fed and the he had a good time also.
I can honestly say that I got way more than what I paid for with him. He is something special for sure. Check the FB for the pics. Its the latest wedding… Ill never forget it because of him.

Ed took pictures of my studio and did a photo shoot session. He is very patient, knowledgeable about his work, people friendly and pays attention to a lot of details. He’s open to idea’s, suggestions, and works with the clients as opposed to for them. His commitment to his passion translates to his work. I wish him All the best in his journey!
