They have a sign that says no one under 21, but tonight 04/13/2012 it was like a kinder garden. Six to 8 children under 13 running around the billiard tables. A group of adults who blocked access to the rest of the building and loud music. This is all with a sign that says«No one under 21, No Pets and this is not a bar. We tried to play pool but the noise made it impossible. Although several attempts were made to contact Roy Robinson, the owner, there is no phone, email or any other way to contact him. Good luck if you want to just play pool.

They were out of brisket so I had the ribs. Meaty and moist, decent smoke. A little bit chewy. They smoke with applewood. There was something in the rub that added a good taste, though a bit too much salt. But excellent flavour. Caspar’s is, first and foremost, a pool hall. The barbecue is a sideline; but I’m only reviewing the meat and the atmosphere of the place. Two stories, with ~18′ ceilings, gives cavernous pool rooms both upstairs and down. Upstairs is for smokers; the crowd was all up there and downstairs felt lonely. Really great job with the woodwork. The walls are panelled floor-to-ceiling with wide pine boards which have been planed but not sanded smooth, and stained alternating light and dark. Here and there large parquetry stars are set in the wood. The over all effect is classy, comfortable. Nice taxidermy. Two buffalo heads. Pretty waitresses in slight outfits, cheerful service. Not a family place, no minors admitted. They serve a full bar.
