This place is great! I had a very bad virus and i brung my labtop into XZAULT 2 days ago. They were very helpful and said within a day they would call me with a review on what the problem was for no charge! I Just picked it up today and Gina said she made it a little faster for me, i offered her over the phone a offer for her support and again she said she would do a free estimate for me which is absolutely great! They are not after the profit but to genuinely help the customer! Dan the owner was also very friendly and nice! So after all i get home and boot up my computer and it is absolutely almost perfect no viruses and very very fast this is unbelievable i want to again thank Gina and Dan for there great help!

Very friendly and quick and decent price. I still feel like my moms laptop is slow considering they word it clean and put a virus protector on, but she’s enjoying it to play her games so guess that’s what really matters

I brought my computer in to have the plug socket replaced due to cord breaking. Several weeks later I had a massive virus. I brought it back and was charged $ 150 to clean. Two days later there was still a virus, I was told I can bring back free of charge (why would I pay for same problem twice anyways?) I was told there was still a virus due to my antivirus program, I asked why would they clean in first place if program is not working? they said they would charge me $ 100 AGAIN to clean virus. After taking to another shop it was determined I didn’t have virus before bring to XZAULT and the clean they did was not thorough. I will never bring anything electronic to them again. Out over $ 200 still with a virus.

I love this place! Gina and Josh went the extra 5 miles to get my computer back up, cleaned out all of the crap, and installed a new anti-​virus for me. They are the best!

Just be aware that for iphone screen repairs these guys are charging $ 129 and keeping your phone for 1 – 2 days while everyone else is charging $ 70 – 90 and doing it in 20 minutes. Just sayin. .

Wow, great service, knowledgeable, fast, accurate, a life saver when the world looks bleak. I have been using this place for years and never been disappointed. I live in San Francisco, Mac and PC Repair is in San Leandro, a not so easy drive, yet, worth while for people I can trust to help me out of a jam.

Can’t believe I was back again with my PC. Another virus. Ughh! My only relief was I knew this was the place to come to fix the problem. I was recognized upon entering. Kind of embarrassing to be back so soon. However, the staff was great again. Counseled me on my concerns, had the PC back to me the next day and at no charge. Here’s to hoping that the next time I come in enough time will have passed so they won’t remember me.

I have had my MacBook pro first generation repaired the first time here. The staff was then very friendly and the work was pretty fast for a replacement motherboard.
So I thought I would return in early July, when I was having trackpad issues with my mouse getting stuck on drag mode and I was given a mac power book G4 from a friend.
I was old that the diagnostic would only take 2 days max but I had to continually call them to find out what was wrong. Although they did give me a discount for two diagnostic for the price of one, the communication with me was poor when they made promises to call me back in an hour or before closing. They never did.
Fixes for the two were suppose to be done and picked up finally on 7÷22÷10. I had the top keyboard section replaced on the MacBook pro and a new battery with some upgrades on the G4. But then I was told that they had shipped me the wrong battery and that I would receive it in the mail earlier in the next week. Another week went by and more calls were made and I was told that it had just come in earlier last week.
Still no battery, if I had know it would take this long I wouldn’t have gone to them. I called again last Friday and left a message about he problem. I’ll keep you guys posted to when I finally get my stuff.

These guys are amazing! I’ll never go back to using Geek Squad again. These guys (and gals!) gave me great personal service and they’re fast fast fast! You can wait a week or two with the geeks while these guys had me in and out in two days! Fully replaced my crashed hard drive, reloaded all data from my back up and upgraded my CDR to a DVR. Another great local company. Not to mention that they have a very cool movie theater!!!

The reason I am able to write this review right now is because they exist. The power supply to my laptop sizzled, smoked, and died, and I needed one promptly. I called in on a Saturday and they had a universal ac adapter on hand and if that didn’t work, they could get one by Monday, kind of a big deal since this was a weekend. The price was decent after shopping around at several other big name retailers. Service was prompt enough and they dialed the adapter in for me and showed me how to use it with other laptops in the future.
I drive by here everyday and figured computer repair inside an old movie theater seems like such an odd combo but they got me up and running in a timely manner so who am I to complain.

I had an unsatisfactory experience with them: I wanted to support my local merchant and they matched the price of a place in Santa Clare for a hinge repair. Though they told me it would be a week for the part to arrive, It took almost two weeks for parts to come in for the repair. They performed that repair, but when I eventually I got my unit back from them, something else was broken and they refused to cover it and wanted me to pay additional funds to fix it. They offered some alternatives or a supposedly discounted fee for the fix, but after the $ 200 repair, I would have had to spend another $ 150 (parts cost) for a computer that might been worth only $ 350 dollars anyway. I offered to split that additional cost, but never received any response. Had they performed the incoming inspection that I thought they did on all repairs, they would have known that the function that broke on their watch was, in fact, functional when they received the computer from me (Instead I got the feeling that they didn’t believe my claim. I didn’t care for the owner’s attitude. Not the kind of a merchant that I want to do business with.)

Why wait 2 weeks for Geek Squad to fix your computer when you can have your workhorse back within a very reasonable period of time (they fixed mine within 24 hours) and at a very reasonable price? I would DEFINITELY recommend them. And, I love the fact that they have moved their offices inside the BAL Theater and are refurbishing the theater. Bonus points!

I had my PC fixed by these guys when they were still on Washington St. The found out that my CPU was bad and quoted me a very fair price to replace it. The CPU had a very small mark up from what you could buy it at Fry’s. The labor was really cheap too.
They do pretty fast good quality work at a very fair price. If I have any problems again, I will definitely go to them.

The customer service here was wonderful. THey quickly diagnosed my HP laptop and quickly repaired the damage. Not to mention their low prices, the best in the bay are. I would recommend the service to anyone and everyone who has computer issues.
