I needed a notched margin trowel. These guys were the only ones in three towns who had it. They also have some cool tile spacers. The show room had a great selection of tools and installation products as well as flooring materials.
I will try them again.
I am not a contractor now. I was years ago. Now it’s just DIY on my own property. If that helps.

If you are a contractor and you do floors, this is the place to shop. The sales associates have knowledge about their products like they actually work in the trades and have hints and ideas on your projects even if you the contractor have problems on your own site. Their product knowledge is lengthy and they also know A+++ installers to refer if you are a homeowner looking for a contractor to help you with a carpet, lino, hardwood, restoration, or tile job. I’ve been shopping here for about 13 years and have probably spent hundred of thousands of dollars by now, and will continue to shop here. One guy in particular, Jeff Martinez, has been one of the best sales people I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. Recently he has became the manager and I couldn’t be happier that he is in more control of keeping the products in stock that us wood guys need on a daily basis.

If there was a zero star rating I would choose it. I spent over 10,000 dollars with this company and when I needed to exchange a piece of T molding and get more bull nose they wouldnt do it. The staff is extremely rude and I will not EVER do business with these folks again. On to angies list, facebook, twitter etc…

First of all I have been a repeat customer of your company. And now this is what I think:
Next I will be posting on Facebook, angies list, twitter etc. I usually wouldn’t waste my time but the service I received from your reps at the san leandro store over exchanging a fifty dollar piece of freekin wood after spending 10k is unbelievable. I am so frustrated by the lack of concern that your employees show that I am going to make sure everyone possible knows not to buy anything from your company. I may even post signs by the store. Well probably not that far but the internet reaches a lot of people. You would think that a customer who has repetitive business and spends thousands at a time would be treated a bit better. I am not a corporation and I don’t buy 100k worth of product but I did spend hard earned money with your company and I am to say the least disappointed.
I was going to do the floors in two other homes that I own with the same wood but looks like I will be taking my business elsewhere.
