Thomas Jefferson Elementary School

Hasn’t been six months that my child has started school here and the whole experience has been terrible. I recommend transferring to a school that current stats are up, the school has a PI program which with the district in CA it is under percentage for its testing scores you have the option in California to transfer your child to a school that is above the testing scores and below with the no Child left behind act they’re basically just having these kids go onto the next grade without knowing shit! The school is a clear example of that, fortunately for me my child is an Excel student which they offered no programs for but they have English as a second language and Reading Academy after school but no afterschool programs for those that are excelling are going above and beyond so basically keep your kids at the basic and below level sorry for the long sentence I’m using my iPhone as I have so much I had to say it was quite angry about this whole school year experience!

this school is terrible, the teachers are rude and disrespectful to the students. My two children are graduating to the 6^th grade with 2^nd grade abilities. It will cost me hundreds of dollars during the summer to make up for their laziness and non-​caring attitude. Unless you have a spanish speaking student dont waste your time at this school. Better to home school them where at least homework is graded and not just looked at to make sure something was written??? The staff don’t know their left hand from their right and the students suffer from all this chaos. The classes are way too big for any non A student to get any help at all. They just care about filling the seats to get their money from the state.
