Established in 2011.

The Lazy SharecropperT opened it’s first store as a full line hydroponic gardening supply store in 2011 in the foothills of San Leandro, CA. The Lazy Sharecropper is the first hydroponic equipment store to specialize in Buying, Selling, & Trading New & Used Hydroponic Gardening Equipment in the San Francisco Bay Area. We also provide magnetic ballast repair services, C02 Tank Exchange, and Grow Room Construction & Consultation Services at our San Leandro, CA location. We’re World Famous for brewing our very own 100% Organic Compost Worm Tea with Bat Guano & Molasses and bottling them at our manufacturing facility daily upon order. In 2014, The Lazy Sharecropper started The Lazy Sharecropper’s School of Hydroponics, where we give Indoor Horticulture Courses & Certifications for FREE every Saturday.

This place is the Sanford & Son of hydroponics. It would be cool if the theme music played when you opened the door. Used stuff stacked everywhere, felt like if I sneezed I would have been crushed by a mountain of old filters and hoods. If you are looking for something to get you by or on the serious cheap, this is probably your spot. There was a youngster working there and he did try hard to meet my needs and was successful in the end.
I am not sure what happened to this store as there are some old youtube videos and it looked clean and organized, now, yeah, no.

Absolutely terrible place. DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came in yesterday and ask if I could resell some of my hydroponics equipment and the guy said only the boss does the buy back stuff. (Stupid) anyways the guy told me come by tomorrow. So I came this morning at 12. Asking the guy again is your boss here? He said oh he will be back Monday! WTF! Total miscommunication, lack of customer service and they sell used parts as new. Not to mention they smoke weed in the back. They should close this place because nobody knows what’s going on and nobody here knows about equipment or cares.

Selling used goods as new.
I found a product for sale on google shopping, ad was for new item seller was the lazy sharecropper. I showed up in person to buy item as the store is nearby and they said they had in stock. Items were obviously used, as was everything else in the store apparently.
100% tried to sell some tired old crap as new. Obviously a total cheat stay the f#@k away!

Small shop with used equipment… stopped by here early an he was still setting up and cleaning. had a good conversation with the owner he was very friendly an respectful. this place is a gold mine for someone looking to start growing without dropping huge dollars on equipment.
