I needed parts for my Whip White Rabbit. I needed a new Master Cylinder. I didn’t want a Rebuilt one. I asked their Counter person if they had a New one and a Heavy Duty one. They sure did. I got a Brand New Raybestos one and its Nice and Beefy. I also picked up a Liter of Dot 3 Brake fluid .
Great Personalized Customer Service. I paid by Discover Card and rolled out.
When I got home. I installed the new Master Cylinder and White rabbit stops on a Dime now.

Its Christmas eve and my wife’s family are flying in from Japan on Monday.
Our Jaguar needs brakes and i am scrambling around trying to find these parts on Christmas eve of all times.
Looking for specialty parts for cars like this are typically a pain in the arse. Parts are hard to find and if you do find them, there are three or four parts that went to this one car and typically they are a arm and a leg. — that’s why i have been postponing the brakes.
I was all worked up and under the gun, a project with a capital F for failure.
We’ll I’ll tell you that after calling SP, I was wrong.
It was around 9.30 and i called several places and they were closed. I called SP and they answered. I told them what my project was and he punched it on his compute and told me that the part was in stock and that I could come get it before 12, when they closed. I asked them to put it on the counter and I was off to pick up the brake parts.
When i got there, Jim had pulled the parts and also took the liberty on getting me some brake cleaner, a brake tool to spin the piston back. Not only that but he and i both know that some times manufacturers change things so he had another set for a R type car like mine ready. he said that i cold bring it back, but it was my Murphy’s law pads.
You Know that’s service and thinking ahead for the installer.
I like that and even better, the price was killer.
my brakes were going to cost us $ 700 from a mechanic.
SP got me out the door for under $ 100

Was looking for an alternator that none of the «other» auto parts stores had. S.P. had it at their San Pablo store. They had it delivered to their San Leandro store the same day. Great service. Will not be going to the other stores anymore.

I brought a set of 4 BMW rotors in which other shops would not touch. They saved me $ 75 per rotor they charged me $ 14 per rotor was the charge. Their machine shop guys Brian and Dave know their business they have me as return customer. It has to be done right that’s why these guys are the ones to do it.

I was recommended by a friend and ever since I had had great experience. The employees are knowledgeable. I must admit some parts might be a bit pricey, but I don’t mind because I’m helping a local auto parts store.
