Description

Specialties

We serve Mediterranean dishes such as Shawerma, (Lamb, Chicken, Beef), Kabobs, and heavily favored Falafel. Other items Fattoush Salad and Hummus.

History

Established in 2003.

We have established Shami Restaurant back in 2003 in Moadamiat El Sham, Damascus, Syria. It was a small Falafel, Shawerma, Kebob place. All recipes were family recipes inherited from generation to another.

In 2005, our family moved to the United States. We kept couple of family members to run the restaurant in Syria, but sadly, In 2012, that small shop in Moadamiat El Sham have been bombed during the war happening in Syria, resulting the death of 3 family members.

We have decided that we need to keep the memories of our martyred relatives, the name of our family restaurant, and the really awesome recipes and food served to all people who enjoy Mediterranean Food.
