Renaissance Upholstery is extremely professional. They did such a great job in no time. I am an interior designer and worked with more upholstery companies but I think that Renaissance Upholstery is a gem not so well known.
Jose the owner is very polite and helpful and the work the deliver is very professional.
From now on I will deliver all my upholstery pieces to renaissance Upholstery.
Pricing is very fair compare to other upholstery companies in the Bay, especially when you receive the results it makes you very satisfied.

One of my favorite local craftsmen. Jose has done multiple upholstery and reupholstery jobs for me over the years.
He has also done three different built in banquettes for me, two of which he also designed and built. His work is meticulous and withstands the test of time.
Pricing is fair and he is willing to work within my budget. Oh and he picks up and delivers too — although a trip to his warehouse is an experience to be remembered (who knew there were so many different shades of red??)

I have used Renaissance Custom Upholstery for dining room chairs, sofas, and hide-​a-​bed loveseat. Every time I use them, I am amazed with their workmanship and timeliness. This is the best value in reupholstery services that I have ever found.

Jose gave us a quote to redo our 8 foot couch that was $ 200-​$ 1000 cheaper than all the other places we got quotes from. He also said he could do it quicker than any other place. Based on that, and the great reviews here, we went with him. He was super friendly, very easy to work with and did a fantastic job. He said it would take 2 weeks, but he called us after 9 days and the job was done. It looked fantastic. I would highly recommend him and will use him whenever I need anything else to be re-​upholstered.

The best artisan EVER. Jose made my custom sofa and ottoman at least 7 years ago and We love it. I choose one of his designs and I don’t regret it at all. He made them from scratch and his craftsmanship has no equal.
Great customer service, very polite and professional. It is a family run business and the Espinoza Family make you feel welcome from the start.

Jose Espinoza just completed the upholstery of a rocking chair seat for me, and did a fabulous job! He came to my house to give a quote and pick up the chair, he re-​tied the springs, and put a new cushion to match the firmness of our new sofa, then created the seat cover to match the piping design on our new sofa also. He also tightened and re-​glued the joints in the antique chair, and delivered it back to my house in less than two weeks. He exceeded my expectations for service and quality!
