Very good dentist! Informative and direct. I had my teeth cleaned and it was state-​of-​the-​art ultrasonic and super fast. It’s the best teeth cleaning experience I’ve had which was quite refreshing given I had a horrendous experience somewhere else. Also, Dr. Sondkar did the cleaning himself and examined my teeth. He kept checking in with me throughout the cleaning to be sure I was comfortable and then shared what he found after the exam. I felt reassured my teeth are healthy and what next steps to take to maintain that.
On that note, I bought a new night guard which was a little more expensive than the norm but the design was also more advanced so it was a tradeoff. The office staff is very nice and they try to set you at ease. Overall great experience and I made another appt. for 6 months out.

Dr Sondkar is a great dentist, but he’s pretty expensive. Along with the price, I don’t like how the assistants are very meticulous with credit cards and how they’ll charge future visits to it. Plus, payments are required up front.
Now, I always feared going to the dentist, but he’s the reason I grew over my fear and now I enjoy it. I no longer go to Dr Sondkar for my dental hygiene, but I’ll remember him for helping me with my smile.

Dr Sondkar is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a dentist. Compassionate & personable. He takes his time explaining every detail of what is needed right away and what will be needed in the future. Kathy was great in helping me out on a financial plan. She is also very informative. I feel very confident and relaxed in their hands.

We just came in for x-​rays but they were very fast and very nice. The office was very small, but cozy. I am used to places like kaiser, so when i see a small office it is weird for me. they had a lot of different materials to read in the lobby for all ages from toddler to an adult. My daughter said the x rays were easy and fast.

Dr. Sondkar has been our family dentist for years. My husband, son and I love him and his staff. Dr. Sondkar is the best! He is so nice, very friendly, funny, and never intimidating. He explains everything and is VERY gentle!!! Kathy is always so sweet and on the ball with appointments and insurance issues. She will create a payment plan for you if your procedure is beyond your insurance coverage. Their office is really nice and all their equipment is top of the line!

I love the care our family gets from Dr. Sondkar. He is very gentle, through and does a great job. We also are very impressed with his office staff. We’ve moved to the penninsula but still make the drive every few months over to the east bay to go to this practice.
