Beware of the older lady who manages this place at night on Mondays she is shady… two kids meal and she skimped out on rice and their new shrimp. I was told no more cookies, no more hot sour soup, and no lids for kids drink. Really? We came in at 8:30. They closevat 9:30. Either shes evil or lazy. Everyone else there is decent. I shouldve just went to southland one.

I went here over the weekend because I had clinicals at Kaiser across the overpass. The employees here are incredibly SLOW. Wait, let me rephrase that. It seems as though it is the cashier that is incredibly slow. The person getting our orders and the person filling our containers are both speedy. The line gets backed up because of the cashier. It’s not that it’s busy either. There are plenty of seats available. People are going in and out. The line is just soooo slow. Glad I don’t have to go back there again.

Good food for a decent price. Location is pretty good if you are already shopping in marina square. If you aren’t already shopping it’s poor. Marina square is very poorly designed. It has way to many shops for the number of parking spaces. I expect difficulty on holidays but it seems no matter what day or time I got to this area the parking takes forever.

We go there quite often. We never had any problem with this place. Some time its really hard to find a parking there. People work there are very helpful.

WARNING: If you’re allergic to seafood like shrimp then you shouldn’t bet your luck here even if you’re just getting chow mein. My sister is a vegetarian so she just wanted the mixed veggies and chow mein. After eating it she felt a little weird but then after an hour she broke out in hives. I’m assuming they cross contaminated the chow mein or mixed veggies with the honey walnut shrimp, which sucks. Other than that they also give really small portions… The guy gave my boyfriend like a measly scoop of chow mein and fried rice. I’d rather eat authentic Chinese food where the portions are huge but the bf likes the damn orange chicken here.

Burnt chow mein, the orange chicken went down in quality doesn’t have all white meat breast. Not crunchy… chewy. Doesn’t taste great. The beef(steak) not tasty. Bland. Sorry but this Panda Express. Sucks… I didn’t even finish my food. Prefer flower lounge in Oakland. And that’s really delicious Chinese food.

The vegetables should be steamed thoroughly, but are not. The shrimp, chicken teriyaki, beef & broccoli were tasty. No hint of too much salt which happens sometimes when you eat Chinese. The service was fast and I have no complaints about cleanliness. All in all, I would return.

There were two young(18 – 19?) women serving the food, one at the register, and one cook that I could see. Neither of the two young women greeted me when I walked in the door. I made eye contact with them as I walked up to the short end of the counter, but they still did not say anything. I walked around to the long side of the counter to see if there was orange chicken, and still neither of them had said a word. Finally, I said hello. One of them said hi, but didn’t ask me if I’d like to try anything(as they’ve done at every other Panda I’ve ever been to, across 4 states). I said«Can I order something to eat?» and one of the girls looked at me and said«Usually people order over here». Apparently, to these two girls, I wasn’t standing in the proper place to be acknowledged as a customer. One of them proceeded to serve me, but I asked for double orange chicken in my Panda Bowl(I didn’t want extra rice, just extra chicken) and told her I’d pay for it. She looked up at me but didn’t serve me the additional chicken. The woman at the cash register was at least smiling at me. I went to sit down at a table, and watched the two young girls at the counter. I never once saw a smile or any evidence of adequate customer service. I understand that these ladies are probably high school students, working their first part-time job. That being said, they looked miserable, provided very poor customer service, if any at all, and I never want to go back to that location as a result. Their managers should suggest that they find new jobs or at least a smile for the people who pay their wages.

Best Panda Express experience ever. Warm greetings, large portion of meal, and fresh food. The staff noticed me before I ordered the more expensive entry. I always learned the extra price from my recipes before. It’s really good to get the notification before I ordered. This is also the first time that I choose the half fried rice and half vegetables. Love it. Even though the line was long, it went fast. It also kept the food went out fast and refilled fast. Which means that I can get a more fresh food. Will come back.

If u want American Chinese these places don’t usually let u down. There are times that they don’t swap out their food enough and u can get sick so u always take ur chance but that’s the way it is almost everywhere it’s a lunch counter type place if they dont rotate right. This time it was a good experience plus helped donate 12 meals for my one plate order on their donate day, something like that. Always glad to help the needy.

This place has a bit of a long line during lunch hours. I wonder why people keep coming. Its Chinese food that is too far below standard. I wont be back. Find a decent Chinese take out place near the area like Jasmine and hopefully you wont have to come back here.

Panda express is fast and for over 20 years the food has been the same… I’ve been to allot of them in the Bay Area and no matter part of the city I find them… only Asians work their. Opps I do see Hispanics cooking. but every one else serving food or the cashier are always asians. No disrespect to my Asian sisters and brothers… my question I does Panda Express provide equal opportunity to all races? I’m just sayin.

This Panda Express is very convenient to go to if you’re looking for some food after shopping at the Marina Square Mall. The food here is okay, but definitely not the best. For the food portion, they give real small portions of food compared to any other Chinese fast food restaurant. This upsets me because I go there when I’m hungry, whether it be from shopping or just want to grab some quick food. One good thing? Unlimited refills on soda. The location of this Panda Express is perfect! It is located in Marina Square Mall. Normally, the outdoor mall is filled with people, so you can count on there always being a line at Panda Express! Parking is usually very handy. Because of it’s big parking lot, you will almost be guaranteed a parking spot on non special event days.(Ex. Christmas eve, Thanksgiving, or a 70% off discount at Nike Outlet!)

They changed their plates to ecofriendly that obviously reduce their carbon footprint. But in doing that, they came up with a hybrid plate that can be eaten there or give you a cover to have it to-go. I think the food portions have decreased by about 40%, with no price adjustment. They can sell 2 of the new plates that equal one old plate and double profit. Smart business/marketing, I guess. But as a long time Panda Express fanboy(even when all my friends made fun of me), who stayed faithful, I feel a little betrayed! I haven’t gone there since then. Maybe things have changed. Food Quality: I think everything is made fresh at some point, but don’t expect that to necessarily be when you go there. If you go at certain times, certain foods like the eggplant start to look like 2 day leftovers. The orange chicken probably has the most consistent quality because it sells out fast, and they make it often. I think everything tastes as how you’d expect from an Americanized Chinese joint, but I would be smart about choosing things that look fresh when you order.

Food portion! good to charge and add stuff but where is the food? Not enough food for a almost 10 $ fast food plate.

On Saturday, 5÷31÷14, my girlfriend and I picked up some Panda Express for our last late night cheat meal. Atmosphere/Décor: There is nothing special to the Atmosphere/Décor of the restaurant. Every Panda Express seems the same. There are plenty of tables to sit at. This Panda Express seems very clean and the lighting inside lights up the restaurant very well. Food: I ordered a two item plate with chicken teriyaki and white rice. The chicken teriyaki has always been good here. This is some good chicken teriyaki. The chicken is never dry. I like the fact that they use a chicken breast instead of dark meat. The teriyaki sauce is really good as well. Panda Express has better chicken teriyaki than most Japanese Sushi Restaurants. My girlfriend ordered a two item plate with chicken teriyaki, beijing beef half white rice and half chow mein. She said everything tasted good. She was pleased with her meal. Service: The lady that took our order was very nice and polite. The service was great. We were in and out of Panda Express within a few minutes. Overall: If you want some good chicken teriyaki that will literally taste better than any bay area Japanese Sushi restaurant for the fraction of the price, then go hit up Panda Express. I eat chicken twice a day, 6 days a week and I still choose to eat this chicken on my cheat day.
