History

Established in 1961.

Bay Area Kenworth has been a Kenworth dealership in the Bay Area since 1961. It was purchased in 1999 by Tom Bertolino and Harry Mamizuka. In 2008, after the acquisition of Redding and Redwood Kenworth, the company was renamed to NorCal Kenworth. Each of the stores is in state of the art facilities that have a common footprint and consistent product and customer service offerings. NorCal Kenworth — Bay Area moved to San Leandro in 2008. NorCal Kenworth — Sacramento had a brand new facility built in 2005. NorCal Kenworth — Anderson was purchased and had a major expansion/​remodel in 2008. NorCal Kenworth — Morgan Hill was purchased and had a major expansion/​remodel in 2012.
