Not only are their prices about ¼ that of the big stores, their service is fantastic!!!

The other day i walked into the store right past 3 employees of were just shooting the breeze, they did not greet me, ask me if i needed any help or how can how help you, I’m remodeling 2 homes currently and need approx 950 linear feet of base boards and casings. After about 10 minutes of choosing a style i walked to my truck to get note pad and right past the same 3 guys who still said absolutely nothing to me! If My business is not worth some simple common courtesy then they don’t deserve my business! I left and will not recommend this company to others. Dear Owner, I hope you read this and attempt to correct this problem with your employees.

After years of dealing with Chris, I’m still trying to figure out how he’s able to pair his unbeatable prices with the best products you can buy. He’s the only supplier I know that offers that combination. If he started carrying lumber, electrical and plumbing, he’d be the only supplier I’d use. You couldn’t go wrong if you tried at Mouldings Direct!

Great products if you can stand poor customer service. My contractor made a few mistakes in ordering products. After we fired him we attempted to have the issues corrected via our new contractor and they spoke negatively of us to our new contractor not knowing our situation nor who really made the mistakes. Take about being professional. Again too bad they have great products.

I like this place so much I ended up moving in with the guy. He is a versatile sales company that deals with not only moulding and doors, but floor covering and has a list of contractors to refer if you need installation too. The store with it’s showroom is built for contractors AND homeowners to showcase products he carries and how they can be used to improve whatever project you may have. Leaving price aside (even though you won’t don’t it cheeper unless you steal it) Moulding Direct and their employees serve you up with a recipe to turn your home into a dream come true with their knowledge and design ideas, making your trip here THE BEST DEAL AROUND.

Recently went to Moulding Direct to find the right crown, floor moulding for a home theater project. I figured they would have more selection than Home Depot and I was right! They also had samples to take home which was great to find just the right size/​design. Chris even took the time to walk me through the ones I was considering in the showroom. Shipping was fast, on time and cheap. The icing on the cake was great prices!!! Will come back for my next room remodel for sure :) Thanks!!!

I bought over 200 linear feet of crown here in Alder, and Oak. I knew which designs I wanted after looking them up in the little black of mouldings which I picked up from FMD Distributors in Santa Clara.
The prices here were very competitive vs The Moulding Company in Santa Clara and FMD Distributors. They had to special order my crown but had it delivered within 2 days.
I spoke to Chris on the phone and he worked up a quote and arranged delivery for $ 40 to San Jose, I paid vs credit card. I had asked them to do a pre-​inspection on the crown moldings and when they delivered it, they found 3 cracked 15 ft length pieces which they replaced later that day. I had my cabinet maker (John Longabaugh from CMT Woodcraft) professionally stain it with a spray gun.
I still found one run that had a crack in it, but my contractor/​installer (Eddie Hernandez from EHR) managed to use it somehow, he had to use wood filler and then stain it to make use of it.
Very competitive on price, I just wish they did a thorough pre-​inspection prior to delivery of crown moulding. I would still buy again from them.

As a general contractor, I source from a lot of suppliers and Moulding Direct is on my top list for moulding and other supplies. Chris gets specialty stuff like custom flexible moulding, always delivers as promised and prices are reasonable. Best of all, they are local and remembers who you are. I highly recommend them.

We were referred by a friend of ours and were very satisfied with the quality of our engineered hardwood floors at a fraction of the price of other big name floor stores! After Chris let us borrow whatever samples we wanted we decided on the type of floor and purchased over the phone. The transaction and delivery of our floors was seemless… I couldn’t believe how easy it was! We had Infiniti Hardwood Installation glue them down and the floors look beautiful! Definitely go here for your flooring and crown moulding needs!

Chris is the Master! He created some rounded window moulding corners for me that were not made anymore. He did them on the spot and the window trim got done that day! Price was very reasonable. I found him on a Unilocal search and it worked out perfect. I will go back for any moulding projects

I started with flooring, then went crazy and trimmed out my entire home, (from baseboard, to window and door casings and finally to crown)!!!
You can’t get it cheaper unless you steal it!!!

I have now been to Moulding Direct twice. The first time was in search of bead board wainscoting. Chris was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He offered this product in so many options. There were multiple beads available in pine, mdf, sheets, strips, oak, etc. All in all there were almost too many choices. Fortunately, he had actually put some up recently in the showroom so I was able to see it up close and in person. I went with some tongue in groove beadboard. He was very good at helping me match up the baseboard and cap for the wainscoting. Further, his prices were lower than others I had already seen in Concord and had a better selection than home depot/​lowes. He was able to get all of my custom ordered material in under 2 days. When my project was delayed he held onto the materials for me for an extra week saving me the trouble of dealing with 16 foot long wood material. Lastly, I was in there again for some replacement moulding. Without referring to a catalogue or his showroom he was able to tell me the who/​what/​where of the matching replacement baseboard. Even though he didn’t stock it in the material I was after, painted pine, he was able to order it for me custom and commit to a 2 day delivery. I am extremely happy to have such a great resource in San Leandro. This business is extremely customer focused, good price and convenient. I highly recommend Moulding Direct.

Found these guys via craigslist. I am a perfectionist but will do my research to find the best value for exactly what I want. Their prices, quality and options were so much better than your Home Depot variety which is never stored with much care. I’d definitely suggest getting your trim here. I even showed up after closing and they took the time to help me get it all wrapped up and loaded onto the top of the truck. These guys are definitely worth the stop.

Thanks to a knowledgeable friend, we discovered that Moulding Direct has amazing prices on laminate flooring!
We ended up purchasing beautiful flooring at $ 1.99 per square foot.
My husband and a friend did the install themselves and it looks absolutely gorgeous.
BTW, the driver was late due to the typically horrible 580 Friday evening commute, but he actually called to let us know of his status. Impressive!

Chris and his team are amazing. We bought 4 doors and all of our baseboard and other trim there, for about ½ the price of what we found at Home Depot. They gave us all the advice we were looking for, and are even able to deliver all of our stuff to San Ramon. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
